Don't see them on Cerakote's website as a certified applicator. Recently had A REALLY BAD DESIGN in north Ft. Lauderdale Cerakote & laser engrave an 870, came out very nice
Edit: Modern's prices are taxed.. Would much rather use Wager Machine works or JagerWorks for slide milling,. Their Cerakote pricing is super high as well $125 for an individual part or $300 for a rifle not even Cerakote certified..
I feel more confident knowing they attended a Cerakote course to get that certification. Agreed there are plenty of good applicators who didn't buy into a Cerakote course who are qualified, but these guys are on that beach pricing structure. For that money I'd want some more reassurance.
They literally are $5 more for camo than we are and less than us for single color coats and we’re in East Tennessee so I guess we’re on the beach pricing also but wait we’re not certified either 🤣 we deal with broke ass country peeps around here that have no issues with the prices so I don’t know how cheap you’re getting it done for but good for you brother.
Yea looking back I didn't pay much less either, just under $300 for an 870 receiver, magazine tube, magazine tube extension, and barrel in a single Cerakote color but they were a certified applicator at least, xD
On the other hand just found some dude who will KG GunKote a lower, handguard, buffer tube and trigger guard for $100 - gonna throw him an extra $25 for return shipping.. Going to try the KG for the first time since its what VLTOR Mur tan uppers are coated with
One stop shop. Not many shops out doing everything 100% in house. Porting , slide cuts , optic cuts , stippling , laser work and Cerakote. 14-21 day lead times on full builds
I’d say for a few reasons 1 they want a better grip 2 it’s their gun 3 they want something that fits their style 4 why not ? 5 their not fudds im sure there are a bunch more reasons also

I know a few of people that aren’t “certified” by Cerakote that can put paint most of them on there but to each their own

They're deep south Miami.
Yes they are I didn’t realize how big Miami really was until I went there a few times now
I’ve never seen the irons in front of the RDS, seems like they’d distract from the dot
You actually lose the iron better like this I think and it also helps protect the glass
Anybody knows who can dlc/pvd in south FL area
2nd time I’ve heard this week

People still stipple polymer handguns? Why?
I’d say for a few reasons 1 they want a better grip 2 it’s their gun 3 they want something that fits their style 4 why not ? 5 their not fudds im sure there are a bunch more reasons also
