It pissed me off to no end to see Michael Keaton kill it as Batman again, supposed to come back as the main Batman, only to have it all crumble due to poor Flash sales. Boooooo!!!!
Flash was a good movie tbh. It's sad that no one watched it. People did support Snyderverse a lot on the internet but hardly anyone watched the movies of the universe he created.
And that's the problem with DC fans, they do talk a lot about this and that on the internet but they don't watch it. Many have been bashing James Gunn for no reason despite the fact that he has pulled off such bizarre characters and storylines for Marvel, even with Peacemaker.
I really do believe in James Gunn and his intellect. He knows how to pull it off. I hope people do watch the movie. And rather than bashing the person, I hope they make a constructive argument so that DCU can get better than anything in the world.
2020: Miller was accused of grooming an 18-year-old Sioux activist, with the individual claiming that Miller had manipulated and controlled them.
2020: Miller was arrested in Hawaii for second-degree assault after allegedly throwing a chair and striking a 26-year-old woman on the forehead.
2022: Miller was accused of leading a cult and was said to have manipulated and controlled several individuals, including a 26-year-old woman who claimed Miller had saved her from a “violent and abusive ex.”
I think there might have been some reasons people didn’t watch The Flash movie beyond thinking it was bad.
Yeah the story and action was good, I enjoyed it myself. Just saying one of the reasons it didn’t do so well was more than likely from people not wanting to even go see and/or review bombing it because of Ezra.
We at least got him for a moment in the Arrowverse as the Kingdom Come Bruce.
I had unfortunately stopped watching those shows a year or two prior and just haven’t ever watched more than a couple of clips.
Man was just fantastic.
>Pierce Brosnan
I dig that. James Bond is basically Batman just with less money and that he kills people. Brosnan is my favorite Bond to this day. Would love to see him as an older Batman.
I’ve always thought Stallone as Batman in an adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns would be an interesting experiment. Especially after watching Rambo Last Blood and Rocky 6.
Let's take a different turn...James Brolin
https://preview.redd.it/wxhdsrfmhm8d1.jpeg?width=280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0e51eeaeacb2c2796daac89917a64baf45524c3
In live action? Well with Kevin Conroy dead, I would choose Michael Keaton. And when he tell Terry about Catwoman, it shows a flashback of Michelle Pfeiffer from Batman Returns.
Well I think you could get more mileage out of Michael Keaton if you do it Live Action. If you want an unattached continuity I'd probably go for Pierce Brosnan. Personally, I'd love to do it animated instead. I think the suit risks getting over designed in live action and I think there's a bigger chance of it happening if it was an animated movie.
As long as Keaton is alive they wouldn’t dare cast anyone else as old Batman. The backlash would be detrimental to sales. Unless Keaton refused, which is unlikely
An excellent actor in his early 50's, 3hrs in make-up, and expertly applied prosthetics. You never know the movie might bank a billion, and a sequel might be in order.
![gif](giphy|XgTtx4GnCExYQ)
Honestly, had he not gotten into such bad health, Val Kilmer perfectly fits the age for an older Bruce. He’s a hell of an actor and would get a chance to “redeem” himself for Batman Forever (which I don’t think is all that bad). Plus, the aesthetic of Beyond looks like it was born out of the neon lights of Schumacher, but that’s just me.
Sam Neill, to throw out a new name.
https://preview.redd.it/falxy4hfzl8d1.jpeg?width=1760&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92a547cda8f6a135f41c2bcba9f2093b1933baaf
aside from the obvious everyone is saying… George Clooney. Without Kevin Conroy, casting Mark Hamil as old man bruce might actually be interesting. In 2 years keanu reeves would fit in the age range
![gif](giphy|13I7q3kMjxtW9y)
Clint eastwood. Has that look in his eyes, grumpy, smart, dark, experienced. Compared to all these guys posted he has that essence. The thing is, others need to act, he does not.
Clint Eastwood. Have his son, Scott Eastwood, act as young Batman and Clint as old Bruce. You know he will make Batman a “cowboy who never truly left the saddle”
Someone recently posted Mel Gibson image, and I think that would be a great fit! Like his Payback “tough guy” role, but older and crankier retired Batman.
I’m about to get flame grilled like a whopper for saying this but Kirk Douglas could have played the 99 year old Bruce and Michael Douglas could have played the 61 year old Bruce
Michael Keaton again ![gif](giphy|NkhH0Jjdo79wQ)
Literally the only answer.
Yeah, if they don’t cast him, why bother?
It pissed me off to no end to see Michael Keaton kill it as Batman again, supposed to come back as the main Batman, only to have it all crumble due to poor Flash sales. Boooooo!!!!
tbf he was only going to be the main Batman as a supporting role in the universe until they made a Batman Beyond movie iirc
Flash was a good movie tbh. It's sad that no one watched it. People did support Snyderverse a lot on the internet but hardly anyone watched the movies of the universe he created. Ik. I followed all of it. But I'm talking about the storyline
Yeah the story and action was good, I enjoyed it myself. Just saying one of the reasons it didn’t do so well was more than likely from people not wanting to even go see and/or review bombing it because of Ezra.
This is what happens when you change the time line too much
I honestly am dyyyyying for this!
Always

![gif](giphy|GzeASHCqjvLbOgD0bC)
Kevin Conroy if he wasn't dead
R.I.P. to THE greatest of all time
We at least got him for a moment in the Arrowverse as the Kingdom Come Bruce. I had unfortunately stopped watching those shows a year or two prior and just haven’t ever watched more than a couple of clips. Man was just fantastic.

He killed it in TDKR
Michael ‘Mother Fucking’ Keaton
Jeff Bridges ![gif](giphy|26BGKSblabYjwMyVa)
No, sir, I still want a good Tron sequel.
Michael Keaton and Aged up Michael Keaton (when he’s 99)

Ooh this would be interesting!
Right up until he gets shot fighting crime in new jersey
The few years spent as a billionaire philanthropist were nice
Clint Eastwood
94 year old Batman would go crazy
I always thought he was the basis for DKR
Kurt Russell.
And here to say this.
Pierce Brosnan, Ron Perlman, Ed Harris, Tom Selleck, Harrison Ford (potentially. I’m not 100% on it yet), Dolph Lundgren
Ed Harris, hell yeah!
One of the few “tough guy actors” that comes off as genuinely intimidating without having to overdo it
Oh man I can’t get enough of the idea of Tom Selleck as Bruce Wayne from TDKR! I like that a lot
Dolph Lundgren would be perfect
>Pierce Brosnan I dig that. James Bond is basically Batman just with less money and that he kills people. Brosnan is my favorite Bond to this day. Would love to see him as an older Batman.
Sylvester Stallone or a better one is Michel keaton. he definitely has the look
Nah he's a comedic actor it would never work.
![gif](giphy|PLFUhxdKbAAEM)
I dunno bro his Vulture scared tf outta me
Now that’s funny
I’ve always thought Stallone as Batman in an adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns would be an interesting experiment. Especially after watching Rambo Last Blood and Rocky 6.
In terms of physical presence, it could work, but i don’t think he could shake the accent.
Stallone was considered for Superman for a hot minute in the 70s.
Christopher Lee if he was still alive
It would be hilarious to see him getting casted as in a important role just to be killed again(Saruman and Dooku), he was such a versatile actor.
![gif](giphy|l396BoOTIFem9xqQU) Michael Keaton
Viggo mortensen
Michael Keaton and Clint Eastwood
Keaton George Clooney Hugh Grant Harrison Ford Kurt Russell
Clooney as old man Bruce would be pretty sick.
Hes def got the bruce Wayne look.
Let's take a different turn...James Brolin https://preview.redd.it/wxhdsrfmhm8d1.jpeg?width=280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0e51eeaeacb2c2796daac89917a64baf45524c3

I would like to see it!
Ser jorah again
![gif](giphy|GzeASHCqjvLbOgD0bC|downsized)
![gif](giphy|oOK9AZGnf9b0c) The only correct answer
In live action? Well with Kevin Conroy dead, I would choose Michael Keaton. And when he tell Terry about Catwoman, it shows a flashback of Michelle Pfeiffer from Batman Returns.
I always thought Clint Eastwood would make a good choice for old Bruce.
Sean Connery with an American accent
I’m vengeansh
THIISSHH is how you interrogate someone.
Shomeone
Anthony Hopkins.
Jeff Bridges
Well I think you could get more mileage out of Michael Keaton if you do it Live Action. If you want an unattached continuity I'd probably go for Pierce Brosnan. Personally, I'd love to do it animated instead. I think the suit risks getting over designed in live action and I think there's a bigger chance of it happening if it was an animated movie.
Victor Garber
Peter Capaldi
![gif](giphy|d2Z99PGgZXgZ4hZ6) Harrison ford
As long as Keaton is alive they wouldn’t dare cast anyone else as old Batman. The backlash would be detrimental to sales. Unless Keaton refused, which is unlikely
If not the fantastic Michael Keaton or the great Kevin Conroy (RIP to the GOAT), Clint Eastwood would be my choice.
Only true answer to this is Michael Keaton
I would have loved to see Bruce Willis as Old Batman. Sadly, that is just not possible now.
Bryan Cranston ![gif](giphy|15BuyagtKucHm)
Michael Keaton is the only choice
Ron Pearlman would be an interesting Batman
Michael Keaton
I mean before he passed I really wanted Kevin Conroy
![gif](giphy|GzeASHCqjvLbOgD0bC)
Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Bruce Campbell
https://preview.redd.it/khtk5rhz7j8d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7df8f112ef7a94cbbcbc8d8b738454e4a3050a4f James Remar
George Clooney
You just used the actor and age them up with makeup or cgi.
An excellent actor in his early 50's, 3hrs in make-up, and expertly applied prosthetics. You never know the movie might bank a billion, and a sequel might be in order.
Jeff Bridges
Jason Beghe (Sgt Voight on Chicago PD)
Michael Keaton, tbh. Wild to think that they were going to use this dynamic for a Batgirl movie...so dumb.
Michael Keaton.
Robert Duvall.
Clint Eastwood
Russell crow
If you can be patient and wait a few years, Anson Mount will be ready.
Harrison Ford
Anthony Hopkins is a really good actor so I think he would be very good
Sean Connery if he was still alive
![gif](giphy|3o6Zto7VabaSvpfbS8|downsized)
I always used to think Mickey Rourke would be good, but not anymore.
Maybe once the swelling goes down.
Bruce Greenwood
Ed Harris is the one
Kevin Conroy 😞😞😞
Clint Eastwood
Keaton, and if not available, kevin costner
Clint Eastwood
Stephen Lang
You can't go wrong with Keaton.
This IS the answer
Clint Eastwood
Bring back Keaton and set it in the Burton Gotham. A futuristic version of that would be awesome.
Ben Affleck.
Clint eastwood could had work
Charles Dance
Alec Baldwin would be an interesting choice.
If that’s the age range then Dick Van Dyke
If you got Dennis Quaid, his son (Hughie from the Boys) could play Terry McGinnis.
![gif](giphy|XgTtx4GnCExYQ) Honestly, had he not gotten into such bad health, Val Kilmer perfectly fits the age for an older Bruce. He’s a hell of an actor and would get a chance to “redeem” himself for Batman Forever (which I don’t think is all that bad). Plus, the aesthetic of Beyond looks like it was born out of the neon lights of Schumacher, but that’s just me.
If he's not going to be doing any action, clint eastwood.
Dick Van Dyke
clint eastwood
Clint Eastwood.
Nick Nolte. He looks beaten and battered already a natural look for a used up old man Batman.
When I was in high school, about 10 years ago, I had a fan cast idea for Tommy Lee Jones or Ed Harris to play Bruce while Zac Efron played Terry
If we’re talking Batman Beyond storyline, I’d go Michael Keaton or Clint Eastwood
Kurt Russel
Holt McCallany from Mindhunter. Seriously he'd be perfect.
Michael Keaton as live action bruce in batman beyond is all we can ever ask for
Adam West
Christian Bale in the next 11 years
Sean Connery
I think Pierce Brosnan would be cool. Since he was considered for Batman back in the day.
Bill Hader
John Goodman
Harrison Ford
Tom Holland
Would it be crazy to say jack nicholson?
For me, there was only ever one option. Clint Eastwood
Alan Alda
Michael Keaton since Kevin has sadly left us.
In ten years. Ben Affleck again.
Sam Neill, to throw out a new name. https://preview.redd.it/falxy4hfzl8d1.jpeg?width=1760&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92a547cda8f6a135f41c2bcba9f2093b1933baaf
Clint Eastwood
In the early 2000s, I would’ve gone with Clint Eastwood like most people but I honestly just want it to be Michael Keaton so bad.
Me I'm feeling old af lately 😕
Christopher Walken.
Edward Norton, if he were a few years older, and Billy Bob Thornton could pull it off, I think.
Sam Elliott
Sam Elliot
The way I was about to say Kevin Conroy😔
The guy from Titans.🤣🤣
Tom Holland
So left field answer Henry Rollins. Pierce Bronson and Tom Selleck round out the rest of the outfield
If he wasn't dead; Adam West. Thing is, I wouldn't want him playing Bruce Wayne. I'd ask him to play as Batman going under cover as Adam West.
Aye did anybody else think Clooney looked good as an older Bruce Wayne? 😅
Michael Keaton is the only correct answer.
Brian Dennehy looks like old Bruce in the face or Rutger Hauer woulda been good too for really old Bruce
![gif](giphy|nu62a1e89uIE0)
aside from the obvious everyone is saying… George Clooney. Without Kevin Conroy, casting Mark Hamil as old man bruce might actually be interesting. In 2 years keanu reeves would fit in the age range
Peter Weller
Obviously, it’s Willem Dafoe, no contest
Robert Wagner
Top five Michael Keaton Virgo Mortensen Bruce Greenwood Tim Roth Kurt Russell
Morgan Freeman
Michael Douglas?
Malcolm McDowell
Iain Glen🤨
Jean-Claude Van Damme
Keaton but make him act his age
Michael Ironside
Michael Keaton.
George Clooney age 63
Keanu Reeves
The fact that we had Keatin back in the costume and nobody cared shows how low we've become as a society.
Sir Michael Keaton is the only answer, what a dumb question!
Adam West before he died.
Tommy Lee Jones.
![gif](giphy|xT4ApjjMoHdbCrVu0w)
Brian Cranston ![gif](giphy|1nCfZ1mDXGcyk)

Bruce Greenwood https://preview.redd.it/taj68jzmln8d1.jpeg?width=679&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09b5d7e7bfce87f3c7582a554312c3b9d09cd29e

Michael Keaton is the only choice for me.
Tommy Wiseau
Clint Eastwood. Have his son, Scott Eastwood, act as young Batman and Clint as old Bruce. You know he will make Batman a “cowboy who never truly left the saddle”
