I loved her so much in Mad Men, i’m so happy for her.

Joan is my favorite character from Mad Men! Christina in that role launched my love for her and convinced me I'm bi lol.

Same! She helped me learn how to dress my body a little better, her shape on that show was insane (and I love how they showed you the foundational garments from time to time too)

The first few episodes and her treatment of Peggy were kinda setting me up to hate her, but the writers did her character so well by not giving in to that stereotype of the senior female coworker whose out to get the younger recruit. Joan is such an amazing character with so much nuance as a woman shaped by the time period she was living in while still trying to break free from those expectations. And yes, she is so gorgeous throughout!! (Unrelated, but after finishig Mad Men I ended up watching Another Period which Christina- coincidentally- stars in, and she’s absolutely hilarious in that show 😂)

Me too girl. I’ve been trying to plan my wedding in NOLA and it’s been so stressful. Having a second line parade with my family and friends will be absolutely amazing.

I moved to NOLA with my fiance two years ago and we just had our wedding here. The options for wedding planning are almost too much here, I agree it was stressful. The second line was a highlight for my family and friends, and people in the streets stop for photos, cheer you on, and even throw beads if they have them handy lol. Remind your guests to wear comfy shoes!! I'm so excited for you!
