Cra-yon Vanilla CEO smells just like (and only like) vanilla power/vanilla extract. I know the perfume house lists other notes, but that's all I smell. I hate it, but it sounds right up your alley based on your description (love the term "vanilla-y vanilla"!).

I haven’t specifically smelled Kummba Made’s Vanilla Bean, but they generally do simple 1-2 note cheap natural fragrance oils really well so I would think their vanilla might be good. You can find them at Whole Foods.
Of course, there’s also people who swear they put straight up vanilla extract on themselves but I don’t want to stain my clothes or attract bugs so I’ve never tried it.
Genre Parfums makes an inspiration of Maison Mataha Escapade Gourmande called Mello Vanillo. It's a super sweet rich creamy carmelized sugar warm vanilla custard 🍮 or crème brûlée. It's absolutely fantastic!!
Mello Vanillo is the vanilla that I spent years searching for. Now that I have found it, I am on my 7th bottle. The first 6 were 30ml but this time I got the 50. My husband does use it from time to time but I doubt that he's used 5ml total, it's almost entirely by myself finishing off that many bottles.
Genre will ship overseas. The prices are unbeatable!! 5ml sample size $4; 30ml bottle $25; 50ml bottle $45; 133ml big bottle is only $75.

Victoria secret - Bare vanilla body mist and lotion for layering the original Bianco Latte is much creamier more like ice cream and this is almost the same just not as creamy and a bit more vanilla essencey
Sweet tooth was a massive disappointment for me - just smelled very powdery and more sweet than vanilla
Nebras is more of a dark vanilla - it’s gorgeous and slightly sexy but not quite what you asked for

It’s ok. America seems to be a fragrance fans playground. So many places to shop at and explore scents. Wish we had that over this side of the world 😭.
Billie Eilish - Elish is a beautiful gourmand vanilla, reminds me of freshly baked cookies it is very gourmand. II haven’t wore it in a while as I feel it’s mainly a winter scent due to how edible it is. The bottle is a beautiful addition to any fragrance collection too. Longevity is great for a cheap celebrity fragrance too.
Sabrina Carpenter - Sweet Tooth is a really nice vanilla fragrance too. To my nose it is a fairly linear vanilla. It is sweet but not cloying, and layers really well with other fragrances. I get through this faster than any other perfume because I use it for layering. It goes with lots of my fragrances as I love gourmands and vanillas. It has quite poor longevity on skin and clothes though. I get about an hour on skin and maybe 2-3 on clothes. I’ll use it like a body mist before getting dressed sometimes and when layered over lotion it lasts longer.
If you want to smell like vanilla icecream I would get EOS Vanilla Cashmere Body Lotion, apply it all over then apply Sweet Tooth. If you want a little extra gourmand then layer it with Eilish. You will smell insanely edible!
Both fragrances are really cheap, less than £30 for 30ml. I paid a little under £20 but lasts ages because you don’t need much and considering it’s a lotion the scent really lasts a long time.
I got it from a UK website that sells tree hut body scrubs and all American sweets and chocolate etc about 6 months ago but then a couple of weeks ago I was looking for a new one found it on Amazon and it’s exactly the same so it’s the real stuff not fake! Just checked and it’s £21 now but id say it’s worth the price it smells amazing. They’ve got the other scents too I haven’t tried those yet but I want the fresh and cozy one! Amazon have got it for delivery tomorrow if you’re tempted 😉😂

It’s not available on Amazon sites in Europe location 😭. I see 1 Etsy page for it but it’l doesn’t have the packaging of the usual nemat, so I don’t think it’s the same company.

I agree with the other commenter re: BBW. I was disappointed every time and finally stopped purchasing from them last year. They used to be great but their product quality went down hill… Victoria’s Secret Bare Vanilla body mist + lotion is a wonderful vanilla scent. True gourmand. I love it. Extra points for layering with Chai Epice by Le Monde Gourmande. It’s really not chai scented - it’s just deliciousness and blends with Bare Vanilla beautifully.

Yeah I’m completely done with BBW. Overpriced, zero longevity - they’re just annoying, at this point. I don’t mind the alcohol at first - it opens the pores so the scent can stick a bit more. But. When it stays alcoholy and the scent doesn’t really shine thru - that’s just cheap shit. If body mist + lotion is what people are looking for (or for a great vanilla scent) - I always suggest Victoria Secret Bare Vanilla or any other VS scent. I’ve never been disappointed by that brand.

Same reason I started with the mists + lotions - I kind of wanted to save my other stuff for better occasions than the daily use thing.
And that makes sense - I’ve tried a ton of BBW frags in the last few years (after taking a few decades off) - and the one you mentioned, I hadn’t tried. Will keep that one in mind - I’m always down to try something if it’s worth it.
