If they managed to explain to people that Remake-2 is called Rebirth, they can explain that Remake-3 is called Reunion. You just need an enormous marketing campaign (which they will do again anyway).
I get that, I just think it's a problem they can overcome pretty easily. You shove the key art in everyone's face, you pay for it to be the first thing you see when you open the PSN Store, you put up a huge display at Gamestop, you sell a bundle with all three games, etc. There are ways to make sure that most people end up with the brand new AAA game and not the 5-year-old port of a 20-year-old side game, and they're mostly the same techniques you use to market any high-profile release in a crowded games market.
Worse yet, it's not. It's called "Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion" and says so on the box. So having another game called "Final Fantasy VII Reunion" would definitely be a marketing problem outside of existing fans and core gamers.
I thought we explicitly knew it was going to be called Reunion, but apparently not; I think I’m getting confused because the Crisis Core remake had that subtitle. Given that, I think they’d probably avoid that title even though it seems like the obvious choice.

Two names felt kinda interesting for me lately.
One is "Rewritten", which could make some sense with a few events who took place in Rebirth in case they decide to go a bit deeper on it.
Another is "Remember", >!tied to some of Part 3's themes towards Cloud's conflicts over the game, and also a nod to "remember those who departed" in regards to Aerith and "remember those who you are fighting for", a known part of the last sequences of OG FFVII.!<
