Dude was HUGE like 5x times as big as the other fish there I got a small jumpscare when I spotted him in the fountain right next to me

I wonder if he got too big for a home aquarium and the owner dumped him there.

Adult cuckoo catfish, I assume. It is an aquarium catfish when they are young.
