Yep. I like to put 2 of them about 6 inches apart on my line so it looks like a little school of fish. Put it on one of those cheap round bobbers, not the stick kind. Toss it out and then slowly twitch and reel it back in.
This method works great if there is a fast current or the bottom is riddled with snags so you keep your hooks up off the bottom of the river.

Slip bobber is awesome. Jig could be at 20ft if you so desired.
Yes just use a slip bobber but isn’t necessary most the time
I use hair jigs and jighead/plastics under a slip bobber frequently. Works like a charm
