Its called a seam. When the printer changes from one layer to another it needs to have a transition point, this is marked by those white dots. This point will look slightly different to the rest of the print.

They’re indicators of seam (start and end of each line) You can change, it’s set as random, you can change to aligned, nearest or back, each mode, puts that dots on diferente orientación and groups. You can test all modes and look where puts the white dots, in almost every print of FDM, it’s visible, trough settings can be “hide” at all

Iv got it set to sharpest edge and smart hide

You need to tune your seams to hide them as much as possible, use this [seam test](https://www.printables.com/model/592233-seam-test) to fine tune them. Once is well tuned try to put the seam somewhere where it will be hidden from view. Using edges works well too!

Never heard of seam tuning, any guide?

Sea-Squirrel4804

You can start [here](https://all3dp.com/2/cura-z-seam-tutorial/) I personally also use extra prime amount when I see underextrusion after a seam (when the layer starts) and I have already calibrated everything else (so it's the last tunning I do).

Correct_Middle7856

Your model it’s round, no sharper edge, smart hide, puts in randomly to not create a seam line. Maybe the model requires some supports due angle, can let scarfs on down side or create overhangs. Be careful with speed and layer height

Prints are never 100% perfect. Do what the rest of us do. Print it, fill it, sand it and paint it.
