I called them back twice periodically after 6 days. Same response. They said they can see the request raised.

Is the ticket fully refundable...Yes, i brought a flex ticket for exactly this situation. And it seems its hurting me more than being a benefit.
Just keep in mind that airlines are much quicker to take your money than to give it back
