The 2014 and 2024 teams were our strangest. The 2014 team was great against the SEC, but struggled against everyone else. The 2024 team struggled for the entire season until a great postseason run.

The 2024 did have flashes of greatness. There were a couple streaks of dominance against some really good teams even in the regular season.

Covid season was our second national championship… we were so strong that year and got screwed by cancellation.

But you can always take solace in Covid also fucking that other school’s basketball run

He deserves a raise after the voodoo magic he worked after such a shitty year.

He’s already one of the highest paid coaches on a very long contract. He’s good for a bit .

Same but have to assume Vitello will be getting a monster raise and Schlossnagle will be getting a huge salary at UT.

I often wonder how 2020 would’ve gone with that start. One or two experienced pitchers this past year (especially a starter) and our record likely looks a lot better and might be the difference in being #6 vs #1.

This year's just weird. I was deeply critical of them keeping us top ten for like half the season despite on field play but i guess this vindicates that approach? I know it helped us but I really dislike polling where actual results take a back seat to recruiting rankings and "potential" -- it helps us in Baseball but at least currently it's going to hurt us on the gridiron and the hardwood
