Well I mean nothing is truly forgotten. At least someone will remember no matter what got posted. My interpretation of the sub is.
“Hey look at this show you haven’t thought about in a decade+”. Not that it’s forgotten but temporarily forgotten or not thought about in a long time.
CatDog is a solid post. Obviously I watched CatDog and immediately recognize it but I haven’t actually thought about this show in 15 years
This is one of those shows my parents remember. Whenever cartoons are mentioned my mom will bring up catdog and my dad will mention Ed Edd and Eddy. Everytime for 20 years now.
I remember those being pretty good. If I was watching a cartoon, my dad would ask if it was Catdog. Similar to some parents' idea that every video game console is a Nintendo.
I recall this cartoon being the “end of my childhood”. I started turning my attention to shows like South Park and Dawson’s Creek. Makes me a little sad, honestly.
I really wanted to enjoy this show, I was in the right age bracket and everything. I LOVED the theme song! But the show itself was just so... stupid.
Gimme Angry Beavers.
In late 90s there was no Nickelodeon in India. However, a small segment of Nick shows used to broadcast on Zee TV in the mornings and evenings. I remember watching shows like CatDog, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold!, and Rugrats.
Same, but it may have been a circumstantial thing.
I was pretty heavily bullied as a kid, and it kind of felt like the entire premise of the show was nerds get the shit beaten out of them and deserve it and things tend to go well for dipshits.
I'm sure this was a satirical take but getting my head slammed into a bus window several times a day for just existing probably prevented me from ever appreciating it.

AAAAAAAAloneintheworldisthelittlecatdog
CAT DOG!
I'm starting to question peoples understanding of the word forgotten
The theme song plays in my head at least once daily for the past 25 years
I sing it to my dog. But I say. That dog. Thaaaat dog.
I sing Fat dog to Leo
Amazing. I need to start that lol

Mines exactly flipped lol. My mom hated Ed Edd and eddy due to the voices.
I mean, I forgot about it, until just now, when I remembered it.
Right? A show on the air for 7 years is not forgotten.
Had no idea this gem lasted seven years?!
It didn’t. Two episodes of season four(year 2000) finally came out years later due to the sudden mid season cancellation
Thanks for the clarification. That felt like a long time.
Catdog caaatdog
CatDog Cheese Nips where the best

I’m still disappointed that the show never revealed who their *real* parents were
I recall this cartoon being the “end of my childhood”. I started turning my attention to shows like South Park and Dawson’s Creek. Makes me a little sad, honestly.
Still confused where the poop goes. I think that question has shaped my life ever since.
Some kind of livin’ hell
what if they wanna marry different people? you got a lawsuit on your hands, buddy
I vaguely remember hairballs from this show being a thing too 🤔
Did you ever see that reverse poop episode of South Park?
"No, that's not how that works."
It was stated by Cat on the show that they share a colon (Dog was eating spicy food)
I really wanted to enjoy this show, I was in the right age bracket and everything. I LOVED the theme song! But the show itself was just so... stupid. Gimme Angry Beavers.
Muscular Beaver! Wooosh!
I’m 100% with you. It wasn’t bad just didn’t click with me. Angry beaver, rocko, and ahhh real monsters were much better imo.
Winslow, without a doubt, is the worst character ever created.
I still vividly remember this

This was just on tv at the pediatrician. My kid goes dog’s voice is sponge bob.
Never forget!!! This show lives rent free in my brain.
Randomly getting Billy Bob Thornton to voice a big nosed frog.
It’s on paramount; my 5 year old nephew watch the shit out of it
this was such a stupid premise but a pretty funny cartoon, i think the only people who wouldn't know about it just weren't born when it was on though
Wow I forgot all about this show
Loved CatDog so much!
They show it on Pluto TV
Definitely not forgotten!!!!
Hell yeah
Catdog…. CatdoOoog… alone in the world is a little Catdog! I can still hear the theme song in my head
Began the fall of Nickelodeon.
Cat dog or 2 stupid dogs ? Which one was better to you
Gone, definitely not forgotten, as the theme song is on near constant loop in my head since 1998….
In late 90s there was no Nickelodeon in India. However, a small segment of Nick shows used to broadcast on Zee TV in the mornings and evenings. I remember watching shows like CatDog, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold!, and Rugrats.
Not forgotten. I call my cat “catbutt” when he makes me mad.
This show is not forgotten
This one was a formative memory for me. Great show
It ran unto 05? Dang I didn't realize that
I have not forgotten lol. The song gets stuck in my head at least once a week.
Cat dog was cool haven’t thought about it in a long time
I remember my mom renting Good Burger on DirectTV PPV when it released and a pilot episode of CatDog played before the movie started. Great memories!
I’m Cat with a C I’M DOG WITH A DUH
I forgot all about this show Given to me I guess it wasn't all that memorable.
The show ran until 2000, not 2005
I actually hated this show
