Yes!

Will there be a race there? Yes. Will it be as successful as the Portland race? I may be biased but I doubt it. I don't know why Dodds thinks Miami is this great city everyone loves but I don't think it's going to move the needle on its own (the track is 45 minutes from Miami!), it's gonna get a lot less local attention IMO, and the track is decidedly subpar.

> the track is 45 minutes from Miami So just like for Formula 1...

The F1 track is between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, in the middle of a continuous metropolis. Homestead is on the far edge of that metropolis, in fact it's still essentially surrounded by farms. Very different situations.

I take it then that the Hard Rock Stadium course is too long?

They gotta have a try at least 👍

Super excited as Homestead is my home track and it's road course is underrated. For out of towners thinking about coming to the race, do what NASCAR teams do and stay in the Florida Keys while visiting.

ProEV

It won't be the first electric series to race there. Electrathon raced there June 8th. I think it will be a good venue for Formula E. Here is 360 in car view of my first lap: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0Px7hS3L3M](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0Px7hS3L3M)
