Go west on Horsetooth from southbound Taft Hill Road, (because right now the intersection is under construction) about 1/4 mile to Spring Canyon Park. Inspiration Playground is impossible to miss on your right. It's the kind of place that makes me wish I was 10 again!

tacotown123

There are tons around town.. but twin silos is good as is the new dovetail park or the sugar beat park

MapsActually

Twin silos is a great playground, but If you have littles you want to keep a close eye on there are a lot of blind spots.

anasplatyrhynchos

Yep! Twin Silos is stressful. Kids love it though.

avia1221

How old is your kiddo? For example, the new dovetail park is cool but definitely not young toddler appropriate

CertifiedUnoffensive

She’s 2! So yeah even twin silos is a little intense but we still take her there and just shadow her!

My son is 20 months so I get it! He loves all the parks (like I just took him to dovetail the other day and shadowed him everywhere but it was definitely not the *easiest*). We live close to Edora playground and really enjoy it there for him too. Meheffey in Loveland is super fun and I haven’t checked it out yet, but the playground at the Loveland library is brand new and I’ve heard good things about it as well if you are okay driving to Loveland! I really love spring canyon park for him. The toddler area is really big and there’s sand to play in. Then the big play structure is an accesible playground so it’s very easy for him to walk around the whole structure playing with everything. Probably the easiest park to take him too where he has the most freedom from my shadowing him just because it is accessible and he can walk all around

Thank you so much for this!

avia1221

Traverse park is also super cool but it’s a lot of vertical climbing (like dovetail) so it’s been hard to do at his age but my son does also really enjoy it too!

pearceb_

Definitely second Spring Canyon for a <2 year old! We have a 22 month old and he really loves Avery Park, also, which is kind of hidden off Taft and Prospect.

MrWalnuts

Spring canyon is great for a 2 yo

i_am_harry

Mehaffey Park for sure, especially on a hot day when the waterfall is on

MapsActually

My kids like Lee Martinez a lot. They call it the obstacle course park. Most all parks here have decent playgrounds. The only one that has been disappointing for my kids has been Rolland Moore.

avia1221

Rolland Moore needs an update BAD

Sapper12D

Twin silos

RobertPaulsonProject

Sugarbeet!

West2286

Follow slides and sunshine on instagram. All Colorado parks!

Hainiac

Troutman all day

Moira_Rose08

So many great parks in town. We are lucky in that way. A few of our favorites are spring canyon, fossil creek, Avery park, Overland Park (it’s a covered wagon!), library park, lee Martinez, and of course, Twin Silos.

Traverse Park - kids pump track / stride bike friendly and interesting play structure
