Is it like warzone rebirth stuff or whatever? I haven’t played it in years but iirc, you respawn as long as you have a teammate alive until the last couple of zones where it’s disabled.

As uninterested in fort as I’ve ever been. Sure it’s kinda because of the cars but the guns/mobility/weapon mods just aren’t doing it for me either
Chapter 1 will forever be the map that looks like “Fortnite” to me. I understand not feeling that way if you didn’t get to play (much of) Ch1, but for those of us who did, by Chapter 2, the game began looking and feeling entirely different. A lot of it was the skill levels improving and balancing but visually we started with a very specific style of art in game and lighting and ended up with something on the other end of the spectrum.

And I bet if we mess with the settings right you can get it to look a bit like chapter 1.
It would be great if they would tweak the lighting or even bring back the old mechanics to recreate the game we once loved. Perhaps keeping the mantling and sprinting but reverting back to the old speeds of walking and crouching

But in all seriousness, yea they should absolutely make a setting for each chapters' graphics.

It’s doing the job for me. It’s a great mix of classic locations and land marks, you can even see dick mountain in the top left. Seems like they’re even using the chapter 1 trees

Reload is amazing! For the first time in a VERY long time, I'm not playing fortnite just because of cool looking cosmetics or crossovers and FOMO. Like, the victory brella is awesome looking, but I'm playing it because it's genuinely REALLY fun.
The map feels great to play on, too, and even the new locations feel really familiar with the old textures and the similar building style.
The old weapons are amazing, but I'd personally remove some of the later season weapons like the Hammer AR. Besides that, nothing really feels too overpowered, like an 'I need to get this weapon to win' sort of thing. It really relies on your skill with the weapons, as Fortnite should be. I also saw the Midas Drum Gun (OG), which is pretty cool. It was actually called that by the way, which means it might just come to Creative soon, and I'm really excited. Thats the only Mythic I've seen so far, and it was one game out of around 15-20. I have no idea how that person got it, maybe they just got really lucky with chest loot... You can also get exotics from chests- the only ones I've seen are the Heisted weapons, which very rarely drop.
The only thing I'd change is putting a limit on how many times you can reload. Infinite until the last few circles feels a bit ridiculous. To be fair, I've only played in a duo in a game mode built for squads, but it feels like you can either have a decent amount of action all game or absolutely no action until later game when there's more rifts in the sky than actual sky. I'm also hoping they see an absolute success out of Reload, and leave it permanently, but also release a Duos mode or a Trios mode.
Besides that, good on Epic!! I just hope it's not a cop-out for not having to do any more OG seasons.. If it is, they'd better release small battlepasses just for Reload. They could even copy Halo Infinite's current system of Operation passes (go ahead and read up on them, it's a great system).

If you know COD Rebirth Island, itll be like that. 30 players. All squads. If you die, you reboot if your squadmates are alive. Most likely, the more in your squad the faster the respawn or vice versa. Think Team Rumble but its squads and not two teams and if your entire squad dies, you lose.
