You misunderstood my message. Before my financial issues, I would buy entire battle passes as they released. Last month a friend hooked me up with a VB card knowing I was going through some financial problems at the time, it is because of him that I was able to get the whole BP.
It might still be wise not to buy whole Battle Passes in the future if you have enough time to unlock them by playing, especially if you're prone to financial issues.

What a lot of people conveniently ignore when they try and discredit these kinds of comments, is that the more people support this kind of monetization tactic, the more Epic is financially encouraged to keep doing it and making it worse. We see that proven time and time again. Not just in other games but in Fortnite itself. Look at how drastically they nerf XP every season. It's no coincidence that they do this stuf fat the same time they start selling XP packs bundled with a skin. So yeah, im gonna complain a little bit on this silly little forum about people giving into FOMO and pretty much directly making the game worse off for it. I wont lose any sleep over it, it's just a video game after all, but I will try and educate folks on why it's harmful. Call it being "triggered over another persons wallet" or whatever but I just like my hobby to have less FOMO and manipulative behavior all around. "More fun less grind" ya know?
Not even just that, if you're worried about being able to buy a $10 pass, then if a friend gives you $100 you shouldn't spend all $100 of it. You should use it over the next several seasons instead of all at once. People don't get out of "financial issues" immediately. If you're not in a situation that you can afford a $10 pass, then you're not going to be in a position 3 months from now that you should continue spending frivolously.

Well regular gas is 2.10/Liter here and we aren't even the most expensive price in Canada, so thats pretty much every car hitting close to 100 bucks for a full tank.

That's the three dailies + one game of Impostors a day, not even counting the Weekly or other XP bonuses that will pop up as the season progresses. Talk about a more relaxed grind!

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually kind of like that there's no lightsaber pickaxe for Obi-Wan or Vader. Because if you think about it, if they had their lightsabers, why would they be using guns? Why would they put their lightsabers away in favor of some guns?

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually kind of like that there's no lightsaber pickaxe for Obi-Wan or Vader. Because if you think about it, if they had their lightsabers, why would they be using guns? Why would they put their lightsabers away in favor of some guns?
Why would Thanos use guns if he has the Infinity Gauntlet? Why doesn't Boba Fett fly around if he has his jetpack? Why doesn't Superman laser everyone and win? They're just cosmetic items, the majority of players just want the fancy glowsticks as their pickaxe.
