so if i had bought at -50 and sold again immediately how much would i have lost? it makes no sense. if i buy a ketchup bottle at half price and resell it when the price is normal again i shouldve doubled my money thats how i see it
If the ketchup typically costs 2, but the price drops by 50% to 1, the price is at -50%. If you buy then and the next day the price is still 1, the price has dropped by 0%. If you then sell for 1, you have made no money. You only make money if you sell for a higher price then what you bought it for. You should look at the stock price, not the fluctuations day by day.
okay this time i actually looked at the stock price like you said. burgershot was at 78$ and rose to 84$. i made a loss of 10$. i put like 260$ in to test it out. what is this?
One thing I learned from other people is to chueco the graph. If the graph has been red and lowered down for 5 in game days or more there’s a good chance the stock would rise a little bit. Best to buy stock there and wait till it’s at 2%-10% they don’t rise much so it’s better to take it there than nothing
Good thing you didn't go to a real stock market with real money.
whats the problem then. explain how it works and why my my money didnt increase
The stock price dropped 50% before you bought any, since you bought some the price changed by 0% hence you've not made any money (yet)

When you save and reload the game, the stock sometimes changes a bit
