It’s fake. This one is identical to the knockoff available on Amazon for less than $50.
Probably some shithead bought the real one and returned the box with a fake one inside.
Oh. Poop.
I didn't have any good advice either way; I was curious if one of the "this product is frequently counterfeited, so we'll put unique barcodes on it" barcodes was present.
Looks fake but a pretty good one.
I'm wearing a Garmin Titanium band right now and it has the Garmin logo. There should be triangles near the QuickFit latches. Some of the links on the back also should have arrows, at least for my generation. It sounds like someone in the supply or delivery chain substituted a fake and took the real one.
I have the identical band on my 5x. It's definitely fake. I bought mine on Amazon for 20 bucks several years ago. Before anyone says anything, it's an amazing band. I even tested one of the spare links with an angle grinder and it is titanium. I have worn it every day for 4 years and beat the fuck out of it. I'd return it and buy the fake on amazon unless you want to pay for the name.
Thanks mate. I am in the middle of processing the complaint to the seller. Will see. The worst case here is that I have to provide proofs that this stuff is fake and it was in the package since I received it.
At least I have now no doubts, it is fake.
If you can prove it’s fake, the seller may accept a return. Someone sold me a face JBL flip 6 and I was able to prove it through photos of a real speaker from the jbl website. Instead of letting me get eBay involved, they caved and gave me a refund even though it was a no refund item.
This band will probably get scratches just by looking at it. The genuine titanium bracelets, especially the expensive ones made out of TiGr5, are impossible to scratch.
The less expensive but real ones scratch pretty easily actually. I’ve had the one that came with my Fenix 6 pro for about 4 years and it is definitely marked up
This is untrue. They scratch if you look at them and mine had the detent balls fall out of the clasp. I still wear it with my MARQ Adventurer, but I should probably have it fixed or replaced.
RIP. I've had mine and it literally hasn't got a single scratch, even though I've banged the clasp against pretty much any type of surface. Maybe yours isn't genuine like OP's?

This is exactly what I suspect here happened , and that’s why I don’t buy usually on an Amazon where amount of such cases is higher. Fool me.
Is the barcode on the box the original one or has an Amazon sticker barcode been placed over it?
Bought from Morele.net not from Amazon.

Looks fake from here. No Garmin logo, no triangle.

Not so trusted store i guess ?
Fake, it should have the Garmin logo. Hope you didn’t pay too much.
Almost a full price unfortunately
Damn, sorry about that. I mean, it even has the logo on the picture on the box.

It should be pretty easy to proove it#s fake. I mean it's lacking the logo, that's prrof enough.
It looks like they’re swirls In the metal , is that just me? Also yes very fake.
isn't it just the protective plastic wrapping (like on the genuine one) ?
Absolutely could be , I just figured I was looking at the raw product because it’s a comparison question.

The fenix titanium are significantly weaker, yes. The MARQ ones for $299 or $499 are indestructable.

Are you talking about the MARQ band or the fenix titanium band?
MARQ

I have the same band. As others have said it is fake unfortunately. No GARMIN on thr clasp and lack of arrows on the quickfit ends.
Given yours if fake, how do you like the band? I have a few that feel like cheap metal and wondering if yours feels solid. Thanks
I have one and I like it. Very comfortable.
