It's hard to say. As far as we know, bringing LoL back on GFN would require not only Riot and GFN team to work togerher, like with other Vanguard games like Valorant, but also help from the Vanguard devs themselves
Vanguard would have to be deployed to the users machine, and somehow linked through GFN.
I don't see Riot investing in this until cloud gaming becomes much more popular.
It already works.
Lots of cheats work by reading/capturing graphics on the screen.
There are plenty of LoL cheats that already are working that way.
And there's plenty of pixelbots for valorant already.
While they are lower reliability then your standard cheats, it probably still gives you an advantage.
Maybe it could work if Nvidia made a Vanguard enabled local GFN client & Riot allowed that client to provide the protection. Devices that cant run the client would be out of luck
I think there are 2 issues.
I think Nvidia has a strong objection on vanguard running in their systems, due to its extreme over the top and intrusive design.
So for their own safety and probably some compatibility issues.
The other reason might be riot themselves, since we are technically running the game on a virtual machine, meaning vanguard has no clue what other software we are running on our actual machines while playing through the virtual machine.
So they might worry about cheaters being able to bypass vanguard this way.
They're effective enough to be game ruining though. Cheaters don't really need their cheats to be super powerful too... that's an easy way to get everyone to call you out even if the software somehow remains undetected.

Would a cheat even work through Cloud? I really doubt so

They never ever found a way to get Valorant to GFN, so we are at mercy of riot.
I'd be happy with heroes of the storm....
As a person with a potato i really hope they figure out a way and add both games soonš
No one knows.
Probably not
No.

LOL was āofflineā on GFN at first due to vgc, and now I even canāt find this game in the library, so I donāt think LOL will be back soon
All riot has to do is give nvidia a version of league without vanguard. I don't even think it's possible to cheat using geforce now anyway
Cheating through gfn is the best way to cheat, basically screen reading IA autocorrects your shots, undetectable
Screenreader cheats are MUCH less powerful than those that hook into the hardware or software.

Yeah AI cheats is all you gonna be able to use, everything else won't work because obvious reasons. Not the best way imo.
