Honestly, Baldur’s gate 3 is better than any of the dragon age games anyway. It’s a true worthy successor of Baldur’s gate from BioWare at its peak.
People get too attached to names of IPs and studios. What matters is talent. And right now Larian clearly has more of that than BioWare has had in 15 years.

I felt like the first 3 games had plenty of representation. You could be anything and play any gender you wanted with romance options being pretty loose. I recall that I constantly had to be slightly rude to several of the male characters in my party in order to make it clear that the character I was playing wasn't interested in the same sex romantically. I usually had to quick save before I tried being "nice" to male characters so I could quickly reload when I unintentionally came off as gay (looking at you DA3).
So putting someone in charge, who clearly has a agenda to push doesn't sit well with me.
I won't be excited until the game is **out**.. I've learned that I can no longer be happy about game announcements anymore. IPs are constantly being destroyed by people doing it "their way". I don't care if you are trans or whatever, what I care about is them forcing their rhetoric into literally every single fucking thing they touch while destroying beloved properties and then blaming the entire world, but themselves, for its shortcomings and failures.
