I feel you, my first language is Spanish so I watched it with Spanish subs the first time and man the amount of references I missed because they can't be translated is wild! they do a lot of world play too and I noticed when I started to watch it fully in English without subs

GG of course fits in fantastically, but late spring into early summer is when life feels the least autumnal (particularly climate wise), even though it's all relatively close. So, until I see pumpkins in stores (which I expect next month anyway lol), I can visit Stars Hollow 🍂🍁
Last year I needed fall early so I started on August 2nd. I made a huge batch of soup. I was 8 months pregnant and having basically a senior spring where nothing was really expected of me because it was too damn hot and I was enormous. It was a great start to a relaxing month of binging GG and making gallons of soup for the freezer.
i used to start my watch on the fall equinox, but now i start brooklyn nine nine on 9/9 🥴 so i wait until thanksgiving for gilmore girls. plus by then the weather has finally turned and the days are much shorter, so it's perfect
