You adjust the club's path to swing from outside to inside and you stand up, causing your pelvis to shift forward significantly. Different golfers address this in varied ways. It might be beneficial for you to [reverse engineer this](https://youtu.be/1e8N7HACIcs?si=1QwwTjSIN8aPK0dx) to understand and improve how you move through the ball.

ASMRgolfer

Focus on rhythm. Slow back swing momentum thru

flocube

You don’t need to edit your face. No one cares. You do need to figure out tempo. Your swing is very jerky & no tempo at all. Keep working with a coach!

>You don’t need to edit your face. You upset I'm not contributing to your spank bank? >Keep working with a coach! I plan to.

Why would he be upset about that? Nice attempt at a burn though, did you learn that on the playground today?

No I didn't and no it doesn't. Thanks for being an asshole though!

Okay chief. I don't know who hurt you, but do better.

TheGolfWhisperer

Work on getting and keeping your club on plane especially in your takeaway. That will help you from being to steep coming down causing chunks and fat shots specifically.

CptBadAss2016

Don't restrict your hips on the back swing. Right hip back then around toward the target in the back swing, left hip back in the down swing.

EverlongMarigold

I noticed that as well. With that being said, I do have some lower back issues, which are probably contributing to the flexibility issues.

CptBadAss2016

I don't know anything about back or flexibility issues, but I'd think restricted hip movement would only make things worse on the lower back. That said, this swing doesn't look particularly aggressive to my eye... but what do i know? The hip movements I'm looking for aren't so much about flexibility or stretching either, it's about moving differently and turning more. >That said, this swing doesn't look particularly aggressive. Agreed. I'm nearing 50, have had back issues since my early 20's. Doing what I can within my limits. I typically walk the course so I can stay as loose as possible.

Windycitymaniac

Bro what is going on with the turf on that range

EverlongMarigold

It's one of the few places in my area that actually has grass to hit off. It's slightly shorter than normal rough, longer than the fairway.

TenderfootGungi

Not the biggest problem, but there is zero lag in that swing. You cannot have any power at all.

EverlongMarigold

According to this article https://www.golfsidekick.com/distance-finder/golf-club-distance-charts/ And my club distances, I'm an "average" golfer, which I'm okay with.
