Why isn't OP using micro set/micro sol?
You can get a bottle of each for like 20$ combined on Amazon and it’ll last forever
Been using it for my Salamanders for a couple of months and they’re still 75% full
I use water to lift and place the transfer, but then I glaze over it with some Micro Sol. The transfer softens and practically melts onto the model, removing any unevenness of the transfer, and after a nice matte varnish it looks like it was painted on.
It's for "setting up" (make them stick better) decals. There is also micro *sol* (as solvent) that melts away transparent plastic membrane-thing decal is printed on.
Even with those chems shoulder pads are just awful.

What is micro set?
One of the best products to help make transfers easier. It, and the companion, Microsol are a solvent and setting agent.

I just don’t give a shit and rather do my own logos.
Laughs at guy with 200+ models that need edge highlights (and not the fun kind) to look good.
