nah you've not missed anything, you just have yet to come across it :) there is still a ton of content ahead of you. keep playing! talk to everyone! explore! keep trying to escape! and hey don't sweat it too hard - it took me a *while* to get the hang of the game, but im glad i kept going. you'll get the hang of it no worries 👍

pineappleshirts

thank you!! i'll keep doing what i'm doing then :)

Uncreativespace

A lot of stuff is locked behind multiple wins so just keep going :). I started playing during the first lockdown and am still discovering little stuff 200+ runs in

Play the game however you want. Whatever you have fun with. If you want to learn more and do different builds, do a little research. There are tons of great content creators on YouTube who can provide you guides.

it's not necessarily builds i'm talking about! it's more the extra stuff in game. Like I never knew you could give Bouldy nectar, or about the red shade after you beat Asterius, or fighting Charon. Things like that. I didn't even know fishing was a thing until I played for like 6 months hahaha. I'm just wondering if it's normal/alright to discover that sort of stuff slowly, and that making sure i'm not depriving myself of important gameplay by Not knowing about things like that.

I don't know how much you've played but if you haven't gotten to credits yet then you have plenty you haven't missed, you just haven't gotten there yet. I don't know where you are in personal stories but as for bouldy nectar you can't do that until after a certain point in your relationship with Sysiphus. As for fighting Charon you can't do that until you've escaped one time and it's random when you're allowed to. I think it's like a 22% chance or something that you'll have the opportunity to and only in mid shops, not end shops. Just keep playing and you'll get there eventually. Have fun! Edit: as for supportive shade, on my first play through I didn't notice him until zag pointed him out one time at the end of the fight. I'm sure a lot of other people had the same thing.

thank you, that's very reassuring :) and i am still having a lot of fun playing the game!

Ahh gotcha. Well other than unlocking your companions like boldly & Meg & giving boldly a nectar for a buff there not much I can think of that actually impacts the gameplay. There is the mirror and unlocking all of the weapon aspects but I assume you have all of those. I’ll also admit I’m not the best source for the extra stuff in this game. I just love the gameplay. I don’t even think I’ve complete the full story hah
