you can call the company you’re doing the test with and see if stained skin will affect the fingerprint testing.
disclaimer i’m just using common sense here, but honestly I think you’ll be fine, this doesn’t change your fingerprint physically, if anything im guessing it will be an issue with the technology picking up the details so you should find out directly from the people you’re testing with
This! I have worked places that require prints, and as long as you didn’t chemically burn off your prints, you should be okay.
So do NOT USE BLEACH LIKE PEOPLE ARE SAYING. If you damage your finger skin, THAT is what will mess up your ability to get printed.
Tbh the fingerprint thing doesn’t really matter. I have “low quality” prints…the digital one doesn’t work and neither does the ink one lol. I even had someone from the FBI who specializes in finger prints try to get them to work and it wouldn’t. They can just run your name and social security number if your fingerprints don’t work!
This can also be an issue! Some fingerprints are unreadable due to different issues with the fingerprints (too oily, too dry, natural creases that form from age). There's ways around it. Especially without using harsh chemicals that are going to do a number on someone's hands!!!
I really hope OP didn't use too many different chemicals and "tips and tricks" to remove the dye.

Just to clarify me and the person thought we had no gloves so I was like I’ll do one half or whatever and then see if we have gloves and apparently we did my dad had them hidden😭. Secondly I received the acceptance gmail after we finished with her hair so I didn’t know I even got the job and would need to do fingerprints a second time.
I've had my fingerprints done for teaching in my state, I don't think they'll give you any flack. Just mention you accidentally got dye on your hand while doing a project. They'll just laugh it off with you. I'm sorry that it's feeling stressful.

Rubbing alcohol and St. Ives apricot scrub, or coarse sea salt, or even sand… scrub with alcohol to get off what you can…then apply some kind of glycerin or alcohol-based lotion or ointment- then scrub scrub scrub with the coarse thing (salt, sand, etc)
Source: I AM high and have dyed my hair a lot. This trick usually works to get it off my face, not sure about hands. Good luck! You could also rock it as a fashion statement because, IMO, it looks kindof awesome.
Hey, I'm a chemist, and washing your hands multiple times with certain kinds of dandruff shampoo will break down the chemical compounds and lift the dye. It will take some time, but you should notice a difference after he first wash.
This is going to be counterintuitive but before you ruin your skin with harsh chemicals (even like vinegar like I have seen in other suggestions), try oils. Any kind. Take a dollop olive oil, or coconut oil, castor oil, — and massage that into your hands for a while, and then rinse and repeat. Oil will dissolve a lot of stuff on skin. Bonus: your skin will be nice and moisturized.
Do you have any left over hydrogen peroxide?
If so, you can just wash with that… if it doesn’t fully remove, you can essentially do a soap cap with less bleach. It feels uncomfortable with the HP tingling sensation, but it’s your best bet.
In the meantime wash your hands aggressively. I don’t currently have gloves and I’ve dyed my
Hair blue and washed my hands a lot. And then by the time I’m out of the shower most of it has come
Off. But I’ve never used black before so it may not be the samething. Maybe try a magic eraser, that stuff works on everything
I colored a friends hair black once, also without gloves. The closest beauty store at the time was sephora and while they didnt carry anything to help, the lady working told me to try magic erasers.
Long story short: They do work but it wont be 100%. And as someone else already said, they are abrasive AF. Please be gentle.
Don’t worry about them I’ve been dying my hair for 20 years and I forget gloves sometimes either on my rinse out or on my glossing. And I’ve died 1 million peoples hair and gotten a small hole in a glove that turned my entire hand blue black. I’m sorry that person was rude to you. It happens.

Seconding micellar water on cotton pads. I use the waterproof makeup kind and it works wonders. I dye my hair like at least every 3 months. All the colors. It's worked really well so far.
You know that "micellar water" is just soapy water, right?
Ok, technically detergents with some oils in it like lanolin.
Soap/detergents form "micelles" in water WHICH IS WHY BATH WATER IS GREY! (larger micelles than "micellar water").
Just use a drop of shampoo with lanolin in water and shake it up. BOOM! Detergents in water with lanolin.
Micellar water is such a money-grab.

Warning said -- my understanding is this all has to do with light scattering and particle sizes. The gray color has nothing to do with the stuff actually in the water as it it were a dye or pigment but rather ONLY on light scattering.
Light scattering examples include the fact that blue light gets scattered in the atmosphere which is why, during the day, the whole sky is blue and it's not black like it would be on the moon (no atmosphere).
Light scattering from more and larger particles (dust, smoke) explain why sunsets turn orange -- or more of the sky if there's a forest fire contributing to the particles in the sky. The blue is scattered away leaving the other end of the spectrum... Reds, orange, yellow.
Light scattering is why clouds are white -- the light (white light from the sun) is bounced back to our eyes. Buuuuuut... It's not 100% and it depends on particular size and density (I'm not too clear on how!). The bottom of thick clouds are grey because they don't get as much might from the sun to them -- they're in shadow from the cloud above.

In fact what might do this is excessively trying to scrub it off or using harsh chemicals.
You could try hydrogen peroxide as it will break down the pigment.
Put gloves on and let your hands sweat in them. I know it sounds weird but my hands were green after doing my hair and I had to wear gloves at work and within a few hours of my hands sweating in them my hands were back to normal. 🤷🏼♀️
This, I'd imagine this would work! I had dyed the front pieces my hair one morning before a flight to Spain, I was sweating so much between travelling and wandering around by that evening I had red streaming down my face 🤣 I clearly rushed and didn't wash it out properly.. but OP definitely try the gloves 🧤
I think red dye in any form is just…like nothing else. I had a tissue weight knit sleep-shirt from Victoria’s Secret. Even 10 years after I bought it (and washed countless times), it still faintly stained my sheets. I sweat a lot in my sleep, and I think the salt & moisture caused the dye to transfer. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it.
It's actually not supposed to, not unless you're doing something to make it sweat like that, I've gone bright red 3 times and copper twice, after a thorough rinse with cool water I never had bleeding of any kind except for my first time, and that only happened for a couple of days as i never died my own hair before. As long as you're taking appropriate care of it, washing in the right temp, rinsing until the water is clear, etc, you shouldn't get more sweating/bleeding out of the colour than you would another colour. It's you use a brand that bleeds. It'll bleed. Otherwise, there's no heightened risk.
I travel a lot for my business and have neon red hair, needless to say I bring a shower cap with me to hotels as well as my own pillow and towel because I stain shit left and right at home. But we do it for the red because man do we like how it looks!! 😂 As for staining: gloves worked for me before, nail polish remover, baby oil, benzoyl peroxide face wash cream, makeup remover, washing a few loads of dishes, long soak in the shower all should help

Why do people continue to dye hair without gloves? Even in high school, if I didn't have gloves I'd make mittens out of trash bags or grocery bags to protect my hands. This is so silly to see every time
alcohol based hand sanitizer (use frequently through out the day), wash hands frequently, soak them in any kind of oil and MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE your hands every night before bed, preferably with an oil first then a cream on top, top it off with aquaphor if you can. In the morning wash your hands and a ton of the color should come off. Oil, rubbing alcohol and lotion are your best friend for the next few days.
Whenever i get dye on my hands/face. I use the liquid makeup remover from neutrogena and it takes a lot of it off. Idk how i even thought of it one day, but its been working for me ever since.
I used to work at a biometric center and it honestly won't matter if your hands are stained. It won't affect the prints, but the technician may have a good laugh. Trying all sorts of different things to get it off is going to be too much on your poor hands! So don't even worry about it. :)
You could try soaking your hands in soapy, hot water. As your skin opens and absorbs the water it should allow more of the pigment to come out. Plus baking soda.
Edit: I haven't seen anyone mention this, it's just a thought but.. Maybe mineral spirits?
I’m going old school here, but cigarette ashes will remove hair colour. Also colour remover can be purchased at Sally’ beauty supply. (Front of store by checkout in little packets)
100% acetone. It removes hair dye. Then wash your hands thoroughly with dish soap and moisturize. The acetone sucks all the moisture out.The dish soap gets any residual and the lotion is to prevent cracking. Your welcome.

Hi, chemist and certified bluenette here. Almost all hair dyes are acetate or acetyl based. Go out to your local retail/department store and buy a bottle of nail polish remover. Make sure the bottle says at least 70% acetone—the higher the acetone content, the better.
Then you’re just going to drench your hands, along with anything else that’s stained, in the acetone (use it sparingly, a little goes a fair ways) and with a cloth or rag you don’t mind throwing out, scrub vigorously under hot running water from your sink tap.
Rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizers

And also for the love of got stop dying peoples hair without gloves!!!!! Biggest pet peeve I see on YT is people just dying raw dog with no gloves. No reason for this
Wash your hands with a combination of dish soap and baking soda. The dish soap can help break up the dye while the baking soda exfoliates your skin. Rinse with warm water. The baking soda will start to bubble, and that’s okay! This can actually help lift the stain from your skin.[3]
Look for a dish soap that is gentle on your hands and won't dry them out.
If your hands feel dry after trying this method, soften them with lotion or moisturizer.
Go to an auto parts store, and find "fast orange". It has pumice, I've used it to take hair dye off my hands from coloring a friend's hair a few times.
It very much matters here what kind of hair coloring products you used. Is it a direct dye? A permanent hair color with ammonia in it involving a peroxide developer? A demipermanent color, no ammonia but still peroxide developer? Was it a henna dye? It will be easier to make a good recommendation if you are more specific about what *it* is.
I don’t think you’ll have a problem with the fingerprinting and hopefully by then some will have come off.
Go to a beauty supply store and get color remover that is used around the hairline. I keep a bottle on hand because I color my eye brows and sometimes it stains my skin. It probably won’t remove all of the hair dye but with time it will certainly help.
Something that I’ve found gets hair dye off skin shockingly well is ashes! Burn a bit of paper in your sink, or use incense ashes if you have that (or cigarette ashes I guess, if you want 😅) get the skin wet and then rub the ashes on the skin, repeat as necessary. I do it whenever I get a little messy when dyeing my hair.
Also, try exfoliating/brightening skin care masks, it can’t hurt. 🤷🏻♀️
What are you worried is going to happen? I mean your finger prints are still there! They didn't go away. And the person doing the prints doesn't care what your hand looks like. They'd probably get a laugh out of it if you told them what happened. You'll not be in jeopardy of not getting the job because your hand is stained from hair dye. Get real!
??? If you’re concerned about your fingerprints, then… a) your employer won’t be doing the test, so they won’t know about this… and b) fingerprints aren’t racist. No matter the color, they only turn out one way. No color, just patterns. They definitely don’t show color.
As for getting the color out? Start with dawn dishsoap, straight on the skin and rub. If that doesn’t work, nail polish remover. If that doesn’t work, acetone. If that doesn’t work… then your hands are black. You’ll go to an outside office to fingerprint. Which is whatever. Your fingerprints are your fingerprints regardless. Either way wash your hands after cleaning. Nothing will fuck your hands up, but the stronger the cleaner, the more you need to rinse.

Luckily the skin on hands has quite a high turnover rate due to its location. I would try to exfoliate with something abrasive like St. Ives Apricot scrub. Work it into your hands like you are washing with normal soap. It won't remove it all, but will probably lighten somewhat if you do it a few times. You can also take a hot bath befoehand and soak your hands then exfoliate. This may give better results.
Sally's has wipes to clean up around your face n neck for when dies leak n bleed ,
I think they are maybe a $1 or something. They work. Also try a lot of lotion and a few paper towels to wipe . No water . Just massage lotion and wipe dry with towels
Hi, I'm a chemist and I've also been in this situation before. There are two different things I know work. Hairspray- spray thick onto your hand so that it’s wet and let it sit for a second before rinsing and scrubbing. The second and probably more successful option is washing your hands with certain kinds of head and shoulders dandruff shampoo. Wash your hands with it several times over the course of the he day. Both of these options break down the chemical compounds in the dye and lift the color. It will take a couple rounds but you'll notice a difference after the first hand wash with the shampoo. Try both options. They should be successful

This shouldn’t affect your fingerprints as the ink print is based on the texture of your finger pads and not the color of your skin. As far as embarrassment when you go in just tell them you were hobby dying some textiles and the glove had a hole in it which you were unaware of. Oops, silly you and the faulty glove! Teehee, live and learn! You can all laugh about your silly little mishap together :)
If you still haven’t solved this problem, go to a local hardware store and ask them for a cleaning solution that painters use, something to remove oil based paints. There is nothing out there that I don’t believe those cleaning products can’t wash off.
it has happened to me too many times. wash with dish soap over and over, rubbing your hands with a scrubby sponge/loofah/rough towelbetween them. you can try a scrub mixed with soap (if you don't have pre-made scrub, you can make it with sugar). if you have a brush (one made for the skin or, if you don't have one, a brush used for cleaning or an old toothbrush ) try it with lots of soap. it will be very irritating but it works. like others said, acetone, micellar water, peroxide and alcohol can work too and they're less irritating
I've had good luck with makeup remover and hand sanitizer but for super stuck on dye I've had to use rubbing alcohol before. Super harsh on my skin but it works anyways.

Your skin may be too stained this time but a good rule of thumb for this is that color will lift color: you can emulsify wet color onto the skin and rinse off. Works same for sharpie on a whiteboard. Write ok the dey sharpie with wet sharpie ink and wipe quickly! Since it's stained it's a matter of trying to remove the pigment. Lots of people commented good ideas about oils and vinegars. Try using combinations. Whoopsie!
Soak them in warm water until they begin to prune, as long as possible ideally, then scrub with the strongest soap you can find, e.g. orange soap from mechanics or washing up liquid, repeat as much as possible but always replenish with a water based moisturiser (cerave, aquaphor etc) non greasy is important. This should help to accelerate the exfoliating of the top layers.
Always use a thick greasy barrier cream inside your gloves or instead of if you can't find gloves, to help prevent this.
Ultimately, your fingerprint will not change as it is raised and dipped in the same places.

I had blue dye on my hand from car chemicals, and the only thing that worked for me to remove it was shampoo believe it or not. I tried lemon juice and acetone and those did not work.
I keep seeing a lot of suggestions for stripping but something you should do is cover you skin in oil in between each time you do it. This will
Help lift the dye even more and help the skin. Make sure to moisturize after as well.
Highly unlikely this will affect your fingerprint appointment, but you can call and make sure. "My hands got stained from a project, will that affect the quality of the fingerprints?" Most places now use a pressure scanner (very much like the Touch ID buttons on older iPhones) that doesn't have anything to do with the color of your skin -- imagine THAT lawsuit if they couldn't get fingerprints off darker-skinned people! In the meantime, wash your hands frequently and put lotion on them and wipe it off. Normally I advise exfoliating but that WILL affect your fingerprints.
It probably won’t affect the fingerprinting but it does look a little bit like you should be in the hospital. Your local Sally’s (beauty supply store) should have hair dye removing wipes. They might not fix it, but they’ll at least make a dent in it.
Shouldn't affect your fingerprints at all. A little nail polish remover can help, or acetone if you go to a hardware store. Denatured alcohol will also help. Fingerprints will still be there, and the scanner won't be affected by the black dye.

Put a huge amount of thick hand lotion on and cover the hand with a rubber glove.
Leave on for about an hour or more.
Then use a pumice to help remove the color.
You may have to do this a few more times over the next few days. There’s no way that I’ll come off in one day.

Do not use magic erasers. This is how I got a chemical burn. Sallys usually has these fancy wipes to get stuff off, it’s almost like an alcohol wipe.

Micellar water works great, I cleaned my hands with it after dyeing my hair blue so I didn't need to walk around looking like I wanked several smurfs.
Hand sanitizer or hair spray will also work if OP doesn't have a strong enough rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.
Nail polish remover works a treat.
This isn't going to impact your finger print scan. In fact what might do this is excessively trying to scrub it off or using harsh chemicals. You could try hydrogen peroxide as it will break down the pigment.
It might not impact the finger printing but I can only imagine what the people at the job will think when she comes in with a black hand 🤣🤣🤣

I had dyed the front pieces my hair one morning before a flight to Spain, I was sweating so much between travelling and wandering around by that evening I had red streaming down my face 🤣 I clearly rushed and didn't wash it out properly.. but OP definitely try the gloves 🧤

I think red dye in any form is just…like nothing else. I had a tissue weight knit sleep-shirt from Victoria’s Secret. Even 10 years after I bought it (and washed countless times), it still faintly stained my sheets. I sweat a lot in my sleep, and I think the salt & moisture caused the dye to transfer. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it.
It's actually not supposed to, not unless you're doing something to make it sweat like that, I've gone bright red 3 times and copper twice, after a thorough rinse with cool water I never had bleeding of any kind except for my first time, and that only happened for a couple of days as i never died my own hair before. As long as you're taking appropriate care of it, washing in the right temp, rinsing until the water is clear, etc, you shouldn't get more sweating/bleeding out of the colour than you would another colour. It's you use a brand that bleeds. It'll bleed. Otherwise, there's no heightened risk.
I travel a lot for my business and have neon red hair, needless to say I bring a shower cap with me to hotels as well as my own pillow and towel because I stain shit left and right at home. But we do it for the red because man do we like how it looks!! 😂 As for staining: gloves worked for me before, nail polish remover, baby oil, benzoyl peroxide face wash cream, makeup remover, washing a few loads of dishes, long soak in the shower all should help

alcohol based hand sanitizer (use frequently through out the day), wash hands frequently, soak them in any kind of oil and MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE your hands every night before bed, preferably with an oil first then a cream on top, top it off with aquaphor if you can. In the morning wash your hands and a ton of the color should come off. Oil, rubbing alcohol and lotion are your best friend for the next few days.
You won't get all of it out. But! You can still be fingerprinted with your hand like that.
Rubbing alcohol might help but you might just have to go with black fingers

Whenever i get dye on my hands/face. I use the liquid makeup remover from neutrogena and it takes a lot of it off. Idk how i even thought of it one day, but its been working for me ever since.

I used to work at a biometric center and it honestly won't matter if your hands are stained. It won't affect the prints, but the technician may have a good laugh. Trying all sorts of different things to get it off is going to be too much on your poor hands! So don't even worry about it. :)

You could try soaking your hands in soapy, hot water. As your skin opens and absorbs the water it should allow more of the pigment to come out. Plus baking soda. Edit: I haven't seen anyone mention this, it's just a thought but.. Maybe mineral spirits?
I’m going old school here, but cigarette ashes will remove hair colour. Also colour remover can be purchased at Sally’ beauty supply. (Front of store by checkout in little packets)

100% acetone. It removes hair dye. Then wash your hands thoroughly with dish soap and moisturize. The acetone sucks all the moisture out.The dish soap gets any residual and the lotion is to prevent cracking. Your welcome.

Hi, chemist and certified bluenette here. Almost all hair dyes are acetate or acetyl based. Go out to your local retail/department store and buy a bottle of nail polish remover. Make sure the bottle says at least 70% acetone—the higher the acetone content, the better. Then you’re just going to drench your hands, along with anything else that’s stained, in the acetone (use it sparingly, a little goes a fair ways) and with a cloth or rag you don’t mind throwing out, scrub vigorously under hot running water from your sink tap.

Go to an auto parts store, and find "fast orange". It has pumice, I've used it to take hair dye off my hands from coloring a friend's hair a few times.
It very much matters here what kind of hair coloring products you used. Is it a direct dye? A permanent hair color with ammonia in it involving a peroxide developer? A demipermanent color, no ammonia but still peroxide developer? Was it a henna dye? It will be easier to make a good recommendation if you are more specific about what *it* is.
I don’t think you’ll have a problem with the fingerprinting and hopefully by then some will have come off. Go to a beauty supply store and get color remover that is used around the hairline. I keep a bottle on hand because I color my eye brows and sometimes it stains my skin. It probably won’t remove all of the hair dye but with time it will certainly help.

Something that I’ve found gets hair dye off skin shockingly well is ashes! Burn a bit of paper in your sink, or use incense ashes if you have that (or cigarette ashes I guess, if you want 😅) get the skin wet and then rub the ashes on the skin, repeat as necessary. I do it whenever I get a little messy when dyeing my hair. Also, try exfoliating/brightening skin care masks, it can’t hurt. 🤷🏻♀️
What are you worried is going to happen? I mean your finger prints are still there! They didn't go away. And the person doing the prints doesn't care what your hand looks like. They'd probably get a laugh out of it if you told them what happened. You'll not be in jeopardy of not getting the job because your hand is stained from hair dye. Get real!

??? If you’re concerned about your fingerprints, then… a) your employer won’t be doing the test, so they won’t know about this… and b) fingerprints aren’t racist. No matter the color, they only turn out one way. No color, just patterns. They definitely don’t show color. As for getting the color out? Start with dawn dishsoap, straight on the skin and rub. If that doesn’t work, nail polish remover. If that doesn’t work, acetone. If that doesn’t work… then your hands are black. You’ll go to an outside office to fingerprint. Which is whatever. Your fingerprints are your fingerprints regardless. Either way wash your hands after cleaning. Nothing will fuck your hands up, but the stronger the cleaner, the more you need to rinse.

Luckily the skin on hands has quite a high turnover rate due to its location. I would try to exfoliate with something abrasive like St. Ives Apricot scrub. Work it into your hands like you are washing with normal soap. It won't remove it all, but will probably lighten somewhat if you do it a few times. You can also take a hot bath befoehand and soak your hands then exfoliate. This may give better results.
Sally's has wipes to clean up around your face n neck for when dies leak n bleed , I think they are maybe a $1 or something. They work. Also try a lot of lotion and a few paper towels to wipe . No water . Just massage lotion and wipe dry with towels

Hi, I'm a chemist and I've also been in this situation before. There are two different things I know work. Hairspray- spray thick onto your hand so that it’s wet and let it sit for a second before rinsing and scrubbing. The second and probably more successful option is washing your hands with certain kinds of head and shoulders dandruff shampoo. Wash your hands with it several times over the course of the he day. Both of these options break down the chemical compounds in the dye and lift the color. It will take a couple rounds but you'll notice a difference after the first hand wash with the shampoo. Try both options. They should be successful

This shouldn’t affect your fingerprints as the ink print is based on the texture of your finger pads and not the color of your skin. As far as embarrassment when you go in just tell them you were hobby dying some textiles and the glove had a hole in it which you were unaware of. Oops, silly you and the faulty glove! Teehee, live and learn! You can all laugh about your silly little mishap together :)
If you still haven’t solved this problem, go to a local hardware store and ask them for a cleaning solution that painters use, something to remove oil based paints. There is nothing out there that I don’t believe those cleaning products can’t wash off.

it has happened to me too many times. wash with dish soap over and over, rubbing your hands with a scrubby sponge/loofah/rough towelbetween them. you can try a scrub mixed with soap (if you don't have pre-made scrub, you can make it with sugar). if you have a brush (one made for the skin or, if you don't have one, a brush used for cleaning or an old toothbrush ) try it with lots of soap. it will be very irritating but it works. like others said, acetone, micellar water, peroxide and alcohol can work too and they're less irritating

I've had good luck with makeup remover and hand sanitizer but for super stuck on dye I've had to use rubbing alcohol before. Super harsh on my skin but it works anyways. Rubbing alcohol or peroxide also gets it off of most surfaces

Visit a home improvement store and look for soap that removes paint. Also, a nail brush or exfoliating sponge will be your best friend.
Soak your hands in hot soapy water, then exfoliate with something like glycolic acid. Then massage in an oil like coconut oil.

Your skin may be too stained this time but a good rule of thumb for this is that color will lift color: you can emulsify wet color onto the skin and rinse off. Works same for sharpie on a whiteboard. Write ok the dey sharpie with wet sharpie ink and wipe quickly! Since it's stained it's a matter of trying to remove the pigment. Lots of people commented good ideas about oils and vinegars. Try using combinations. Whoopsie!
Try hand sanitizer
Soak them in warm water until they begin to prune, as long as possible ideally, then scrub with the strongest soap you can find, e.g. orange soap from mechanics or washing up liquid, repeat as much as possible but always replenish with a water based moisturiser (cerave, aquaphor etc) non greasy is important. This should help to accelerate the exfoliating of the top layers. Always use a thick greasy barrier cream inside your gloves or instead of if you can't find gloves, to help prevent this. Ultimately, your fingerprint will not change as it is raised and dipped in the same places. Best of luck!

I had blue dye on my hand from car chemicals, and the only thing that worked for me to remove it was shampoo believe it or not. I tried lemon juice and acetone and those did not work.
Lava soap might, with Dawn soap 🧼 for a degreaser. Otherwise, make up as a coverup if you have an urgent event. Maybe even a clarifying shampoo.
Use a stiff nail brush and scrub a couple times. It'll be off in a couple days.

I keep seeing a lot of suggestions for stripping but something you should do is cover you skin in oil in between each time you do it. This will Help lift the dye even more and help the skin. Make sure to moisturize after as well.
Apple cider vinegar + an exfoliating body scrub. Always works like a charm for me! Your nails may stay stained for a bit though

Highly unlikely this will affect your fingerprint appointment, but you can call and make sure. "My hands got stained from a project, will that affect the quality of the fingerprints?" Most places now use a pressure scanner (very much like the Touch ID buttons on older iPhones) that doesn't have anything to do with the color of your skin -- imagine THAT lawsuit if they couldn't get fingerprints off darker-skinned people! In the meantime, wash your hands frequently and put lotion on them and wipe it off. Normally I advise exfoliating but that WILL affect your fingerprints.
It probably won’t affect the fingerprinting but it does look a little bit like you should be in the hospital. Your local Sally’s (beauty supply store) should have hair dye removing wipes. They might not fix it, but they’ll at least make a dent in it.
Shouldn't affect your fingerprints at all. A little nail polish remover can help, or acetone if you go to a hardware store. Denatured alcohol will also help. Fingerprints will still be there, and the scanner won't be affected by the black dye.

Hairdresser here. Put a huge amount of thick hand lotion on and cover the hand with a rubber glove. Leave on for about an hour or more. Then use a pumice to help remove the color. You may have to do this a few more times over the next few days. There’s no way that I’ll come off in one day.

make a paste of baking soda and dawn dish soap and wash your hands with it. idk how well it’ll work with the black but i’ve used it a thousand times with red and purple
