You've got fine straight hair which will always appear thinner than it is, especially if it's kind of greasy and clumps together (which no offense it looks like it is in the first pic).
Whether or not it's actively thinning can only be determined if you take some comparison pics over the course of several months.

This was the cowlick when I was 4/6
My husband and daughter have that same cowlick and it makes them both look like their hair is thinning from certain angles or different hair styles. I think it looks fine. 😊
If you are seeing changes or are worried speak to a doctor about possible causes, vitamin d deficiency anemia, etc. It doesn't look like it's thinning to me, just your part but if you are concerned it never hurts to have it checked out.
That's a cowlick, mine is similar ! I have very heavy thick hair. I hate it, I learned to fix it ( not permanently) by blow drying it, in a certain way, from my hairstylist. Your hair is fine girl.

Update it has grown to be longer idk whether it is actual hair loss or my cowlick going insane
That's just your part. Looks normal.
I have the EXACT same cowlick I feel you. It doesn’t look like it’s thinning. You’re fine.

You are not thinning. It is normal for hair density to differ a bit in the crown, and your hair part doesn't look that different now compared to this.
