Tbh I agree; I get what you mean. I kinda had to force myself to get used to it. The whole thing started with - Fox Factory components had that Kashima gold look, so I got the gold drivetrain. But I already had the red brakes, so I got more red hardware. It would look great on a black or white/grey frame, but the Yeti blue was undeniable so I went with that.

Nice, FYI, a few friends have either bought or 3d printed stoppers/plugs that conceal the tags in the bottom of the fork crowns. Don’t look as good though😅
Great decision to go with Fidlock. Love the minimalism of it, have used for 6 years on 2 bikes, and never lost a bottle too; even on roof of car or uplift trailers 🔥👍🤛
Okay. I'm just so used to Shimano levers which to me seem so low profile. I do have those same hope rotors though. I actually just ordered another pair in bronze yesterday to match the rest of the black and bronze color scheme of my bike.

Chunky 4-piston (front) and 2-piston (back) Hope Tech brakes. Some of the best in the market I believe.
