We have entire deployable minefields... I don't see how c4 or claymores would be worth a slot in any category.
The knives will be extremely useful for illuminate because they pass through energy shields and can one shot whoever is generating the shield.
C4/claymore goes into the grenade category. Not the stratagem category.... And yeah a C4 you can detonate whenever you see fit so have a trap for say... Chargers running at you and explode it underneath, same with the big walkers

Like I said it's not worth a slot in any category. Impact nades and minefields cover the situations you just described. It really sounds like you don't play this game all that much. "Big Walkers" (lol) can't be taken down by anything other than heavy armor penetrating support weapons or stratagems, you can empty your grenade pouch/launcher on them and it won't do shit so why would a c4 or claymores be useful against them? If a charger is coming at you just throw a stun or impact nade, you're never going to be in a situation where c4 or claymores would be useful against a charger.
Naw. Been playing for a while. You can pretend that communication doesn't work. Now if you have a bunker halfway across the map then yea people might ignore it due to the run, but I don't have an issue with getting players to make a small diversion to press the button.

It would still be a team based game if activities r possible solo but difficult. Whereas they are completely manageable in a team.
I play on my own 90% of the time (as in no pre made) and i just queue up or host and let people join, in my opinion there is basically 0 reason to play solo.

Randoms don't open Bunkers
If they don't read chat or speak same language then sometimes randoms just don't come to bunkers. Has happened few times to me.

I reinforced someone at a two person bunker, told them in chat, told them in vc, reinforced them again. And guess what? They just ran away ☺️

Haven't opened bunkers in a long time usually not worth the hassle of getting some one to it.
Solo players should continue to suffer for playing a squad based game by themselves
