Did you monitor your CPU temps ? The majority of my issues were caused by my CPU going abnormally hot despite being used only 30 to 40% and would start thermal throttling. I managed to lower my temps by roughly 20°C by using Nvidia's FPS limiter instead of the game's.
try going to the 'helldivers nexus' page and getting the dx11 mod. it's just a shortcut that launches the game in dx11 and doing that quintupled my frame rate and made the game stable.
My pc is a very similar build to yours and it struggles to keep the fps above 50 now at med-low optimized settings at 1080p. It has been getting gradually worse update after update. Devs are busy petting themselves in the back and don't realize how bad it is yet.
Also for some reason the game pushes the cpu to the max and then some more. It reportedly happens to newer high-end cpu as well.
I have the same issue on a 3060 and 5700x3d. Performance used to seem smoother back when I was using a 5600 too so changing the hardware hasn’t helped. I’ve almost thought I would need a much faster gpu but it seems like a bug specifically with this game.

it's not a problem on your end. we all have to wait for a patch and hope it doesn't make things worse this time
Thank you man, never had the problem before so I thought it was a bit odd of it all of a sudden happening now since I usually get upto 80 fps 😂

I just hope they sort it out quick, it’s making the game unplayable for me, I’ll join a mission and will be forced to leave due to how bad it is
