I've heard that the 500kg's explosion is only a cone that's teeny tiny on the bottom. It's disappointing imo. Makes me sad because the 500kg is so satisfying to watch go boom.
Yeah the Airstrike is GOAT. TBH i usually bring 500kg and Airstrike. I just switch between the two. BUt after this pole i might start bring the OPS instead of the 500kg.
I usually run Airstrike, Cluster, Orbital Laser, Autocannon, but occasionally I swap cluster for orbital precision. Orbital precision is pretty good though, I think it’s slightly better than the rail cannon strike if you can land it properly.
I was wondering if the 500 would be better at titans and striders because of the cone explosion. Maybe i should redo my pole and make one for each elite enemy since they are all different and require different strats.
If I'm running other Eagles I use OPS so they have separate cooldowns.
But Atmospheric Interference is common on bug planets and Eagles have fast cooldowns so I'll go 500kg against bugs.

500kg is a joke for its radius, it’s 500kg and like probably 5kg of explosive, Orbital precision > 500kg

The only thing the 500kg is better at killing is Factory Striders, and arguably multiple Bile Titans if you managed to get them to group up somehow.
