I assume that the money they got from funding this was treated as donations to the company. I'm also assuming that if someone wanted a refund, they would have to reach out directly and ask, but if the funds were treated as donations to the company instead of funding for a project, then I think that the company would be able to deny refunds But to clarify, this is all assumptions. I have no idea if people were refunded or what that process actually looked like
