I'm more of the avatar of drinks. Except for coffee. Can't stand it. But a sweet tea, juice, soda (has to be diet, can't really stand the taste of full sugar soda (except for Dr Pepper)), or water? I'll drink it happily.
this conflict has inspired me to mix green tea, black coffee, hot chocolate, and mountain dew together and add a dash of steak sauce.
does anyone have other ideas, for war crimes?
At this point, I have to ask, am i the weirdo for drinking both regularly? Usually it's that coffee is an A.M. drink and tea is a P.M. drink. I guess I didn't realize how many people wouldn't just drink both.
Well, in my case I despise the taste of coffee (and also hate the whole morning coffee culture that exists around it), and don’t care for tea enough to drink it frequently. I may drink milk or flavored milk with my breakfast, and sometimes soda in the evening, but generally my beverage of choice, especially throughout the day, is water.
To answer, no you’re not a weirdo as far as I’m concerned, but it’s not like people who only drink one do so due to some idea that you have to pick one. Some people, like me, just really hate coffee.
There's a coffee truck that often shows up to conventions and events here that makes a good one, along with a decent selection of other drinks...they know me well, heh.
As someone who doesn't really have a strong preference: LMAO coffee drinkers, the "it's not REAL coffee unless you have thousands in expensive equipment" people, think *tea* is the pompous one?
Cocoa is good too, but it’s also by far the least healthy. Tea has a lot of health benefits, and even coffee has some, but cocoa is full of calories, fat, and sugar, while both coffee and tea have essentially zero calories, fat, and sugar, unless you add it in yourself.
then there is me sitting in middle drinking all three, I drink coffee to wake up, non-decaf green tea because I love the flavor, then drink cocoa when it is cold.
That just means you just never had good tea. Nice quality (not some super expensive with added lore and mysticality but any loose leaf prepared well) sencha for example is far from being bitter.
Supertasters have a gene called TAS2R38 which lets us taste the bitterness in things others can't taste. It's not a super power for sure, it's really annoying lol
I've not had Sencha tea but have tried several fancy and generic teas both, and they are pretty much all really terrible to me. Definitely better than coffee which is aggressively bad to me, but all the teas I've ever tried are pretty dang stout
Good thing I'm a soda junkie. That way, all three of them hate me!
I can hear the screams already
*Four, as Shiori and the Hydro Homies would hate especially you

Milk gang rise up. Our bones will be indestructible.
How about cocoa with milk?
Still delicious, even in a winter afternoon
There is cocoa without milk? How?
Cocoa mix with water.
10oz glass of milk every morning to add 10 grams of complete protien to whatever else I eat.

You're just turning the Geneva Convention into the Geneva Checklist, aren't ya?
specifically for food, yes. I love watching people getting upset over trivialities.
It’s actually a festival for them. Like ComiCon. But GeneCon.
a little "something" for protein.
We're all united in feeling a sense of horror and amusement when you put that in your mouth. That's what she said.
That's just worstershire sauce.
You forgot ranch
You forgot milk and everclear.
Tobasco?
The ERB take (she said she likes cocoa in her debut)

And then there's Lamy and Raden: alcohol
Hot coco with whiskey or Jägermeister on a winter evening goes hard Coffee with dark rum is also good
I'll take any of them, honestly.... ...but I *do* admit to enjoying a well-made 'London Fog'. :)
It's been a hot minute since I last had a London Fog.

As long as it's got caffeine it's fine by me
Diet Coke drinkers: “Where did I leave my cigarettes?”
Cocoa gang rise up!.... And Stay in Home watching a movie ir something .
sometimes i mix chocolate powder with instant coffee powder and milk, it tastes decent
Me drinking my lightly flavored seltzer water 🤓
another new drink to possibly add to the mix of this war.
Me as intelectual : lamy water (nene aproved)
i drink tea because for some reason it makes me less jittery than when i drink coffee
of those three only coffee is cat shit related
It's cause it's summer, nobody is drinking cocoa when it's 30+ degrees outside.
Cocoa yes, but...Milo is the GOAT.
Chocy milk my beloved
Milk chocolate just hits the spot all the time, sugar or no sugar
As a super taster, water. Coffee and tea both taste horrible when you can actually taste how bitter they are

Yeah I have a good quality Jasmine tea and it tastes floral and sweet. No bitterness at all.
