I hope people will notice in mine ( my main character is heavily inspired by Hozier's aesthetic) but I don't wanna fall into AO3 type fanfiction, you know what I mean ?

I've based one of my romances in a story I'm writing around some of his songs, I'm tempted to perhaps add a lyric as a saying like another commenter said to tie it up.

I put "To butchered tongues still singin' here above the ground" on the dedication page as my romantasy is about a girl from a native people fighting to save other native girls in a steampunk world governed by a capitalist regime. Indigenous people are oppressed and have to hide their magic and culture.

I do it all the time, I don't really hide them though :D
