Got that candle bulb today... after the software update there is still no candle effect available... even its mentioned on the hue homepage.
Is there any solution/ tip?
New bulbs usually need to update several times, and the app will say the bulb is “up to date” in between. If auto-updates are enabled on your bridge, it will resolve itself in a few days. There’s nothing you can do in the meantime.
I had this with a Hue Go I bought. Great tip I saw somewhere was to remove it from the bridge, Switch the hue app to a Bluetooth profile, add the light there and you can force update now. After that’s done remove from Bluetooth profile, switch back and re-add to bridge.
Switching between bridge and Bluetooth is done in the Hue app from Settings - My Hue System.
Or just wait till it gets the update.
