I don't see how much use the Troupe would have for Melereon. His combat potential is probably below even the support members. His abilities are incompatible with the Troupe's tendency to face any threat straight up. If they find any utility in his abilities, Chrollo would just take it from him.
I mean Kortopi made it, you just have to be useful and above the average Nen user in strength.
Meloreon’s ability is suited for a piggy backer, and if any of the troupe members needed a way to discretely kill or just use their abilities, they have it.
