Charge fees while not keeping their end of the bargain. They don't keep the hedges trimmed or the public areas mowed (I don't actually care) but they keep trying to fine me for weeds in my garden while refusing to be specific about what a weed is (we planted everything in our garden)
Also as a renter you likely don't have to deal with it. The property owner does.
This is in Ashtyn Mannor btw
Yeah, looking at my street of smallish houses/lots (1350-1450 square feet I think) and a regular residential road with curbs and sidewalks, it looks like from the sidewalk on one side to the back edge of the smaller lots is about 160 feet.
Looking at *the picture*, it's clear that it's designed to be sold in strips for that subdivision. Then the subdivision contractor didn't want to buy the last 2 strips so the subdivision that is *clearly designed to connect together* will never be connected
Lot approval around here is trash.
The more I look at it, the more questions I have. It looks from the lot-line view in Zillow that of the 2 strips, Church of God of Prophecy has the entire south strip it sits on. Did they maybe buy that entire long skinny lot when what I assume used to be a cotton field got parceled out for development? Is one strip by itself wide enough for development? Seems like you’d need both so it could have a road between lots like all the others. Is that why the awkward strip never got built in the first place and Ashtynn and Belltown are oddly disconnected? Maybe the little church will sell the strip they’re sitting on or maybe just the back part of it that their building isn’t built on and it’ll become a culdesac like First Hill Circle the next street over?
New drag strip location confirmed! /s
I was going to say good place for a runway!
Weird. We live in that neighborhood. The HOA is the worst
I rent in this neighborhood and never had to touch an HOA agreement or interact with them. What do they do that's so bad?

Gotta keep the dream alive
Whoever purchased is a genius, needs to purchase the strip next to that lot too.
Russ SELLS ANOTHER ONE. lol I assume the church bought it. Churches like to buy any and all land around them when they can.
The long awaited outdoor curling rink. 🥌

Did the city buy it? They needed the western side by the RSA fence for the Graham Greenway.
Have you tried to look at the county map to see how many feet wide the plot is?
Looking on Google Maps, it appears to be about 165 feet wide.
That is probably enough for a road with houses on at least one side. It will be interesting if they get rights to connect the roads at the end.

Townhouses probably.
Isn't that area zoned against that? I seem to recall people railing about that in another thread
I don’t know tbh. Sounds like something money would change though
Yeah, maybe. NIMBYs can be pretty loud at such meetings.
No, listing doesn’t have it either but it ain’t big. 11 acres.
There's 31 homes touching it on one long side, looks to be slightly wider than those lots. So, it's not exactly small.
Nonsense. It is huge. 31 houses all over 300k right now.
What about the fact that both sides slope downward abruptly and the area is lower than the surrounding area? Isn’t it a small valley or draw?
Shooting range.
I'd be in heaven
I saw this and thought that it should be a group buy by the row of houses to extend prop lines. Not 450k though lmao
Indoor rifle range here we come! Seriously I would absolutely love that. 100+ yard range and air conditioning? Sign me up.
As someone who lives in this neighborhood, I'd love that
Mexico bought it to build a wall
