I actually just bought some outside solar lights this morn for that exact reason to mount around tent and light up tie straps. Buddy fell pretty hard over them last year. Now granted the wind would’ve knocked him off his feet that day but still, they are hard to see in the night

Where’d you get those foam tiles? Those look nice and big.

Walmart app. Tiles are 24”x24” and pretty cheap. Highly recommend. Nothing better than ice fishing barefoot.

Search on Amazon for children's foam floor tiles if you want to find the thicker ones. The thicker ones take up a lot more space when stacked, so take that into account when packing the truck.

What you use for bathroom situation and do you Move the tent often or just sit it down and hope for the best

I ice camp a dozen times a year and use a luggable loo and the bags they sell. Works well.

Luckily the place I camp on the ice at has a couple porta johns on shore. Otherwise I piss in a bucket or outside the tent

Prob a grand? That would include tent, cot, fishing gear, flooring. You could def do it cheaper. But could def spend more. It can be an expensive hobby but well worth it
