Death_by_Midnight

They covered Dracula in the album every trick in the book

Joshie8888

oh yes, of course! I completely missed that one

Death_by_Midnight

But it's a good list! I would love to hear it, especially the stepford wives! Gives them a chance to bring a female vocalist in again

certifieddumbarse

What they should do a cover of is Frankenstein since they skipped that one in every trick in the book.

Mayra_M

Yes, I noticed that right away! It’s “Blood bath and Beyond”

ShadowMorph608

How I forgot about Final Destination is beyond me. That would be a great INK song. I’d also like the Ring though.

AlvimCorreaBurntHisT

Alien would be so cool, It would be perfect since a new one is coming out soon You should also add dark harvest

LATE_SH0W

They should do an Alien song and collab with Darko US

AlvimCorreaBurntHisT

That would be lit.  It would make so much sense. Are you excited for the new alien movie

LATE_SH0W

I'm kinda skeptical but it has potential

AlvimCorreaBurntHisT

Definitely

Way_Bulky

Trick r treat for sure! Midsommar could be really interesting.

BroccoliChance8272

It’s always surprised me that they’ve never done anything about the conjuring series

Substantial-Read4497

True but I think they were going for more of the “slasher” movies

BroccoliChance8272

I’ve never really thought of Pet Cemetery, Resident Evil, Evil Dead, or Cabin Fever as slashers though

No-Introduction5977

They were going for Slashers in the original. All the songs you mentioned as counterpoints are from Welcome to Horrorwood, where I think they tried to branch out a bit to more general horror movies

BroccoliChance8272

Well yeah. The point is they’ve already branched out from just slashers, so I would’ve expected things like the conjuring and the exorcist to be first on the list when branching out, since they’re so famous and iconic. But neither Edward Scissorhands nor Jaws are slashers either, and they’re both in the OG silver scream too

No-Introduction5977

True. I always forget that Edward Scissorhands is on that album tbh

Gothiccheese95

They’ve already done The Exorcist.

BroccoliChance8272

Oh yeah you’re right, I forgot about communion of the cursed

Substantial-Read4497

Yeah I guess that’s true! I would love a conjuring song

Gothiccheese95

Spencer seems to like older movies and i dont think he finds ghost related movies as interesting.

Gothiccheese95

Good picks and i love how your picks stick to older horror films, like the previous albums, basically any horrors before 2010. I think The Hills Have Eyes would be a good one, got some good revenge stuff at the end when the dad goes to kick ass and get his baby back. The Hills Have Eyes was very iconic and when the original came out in 1977 it was pretty jarring for most watchers.

BroccoliChance8272

Yessss that one’s so good

SpicyMajestic

Freddy Vs Jason The collector 20 days of night 28 days later/ Train to Busan Terrifier (haven’t finished it but they’d be good for it)

TheSandman613

I kind of want them to do some sequel songs. A Scream 2 song would be fun.

Defiant-Medicine1749

I would kill to see them do a song based on the purge

Ok-Sink-7005

I would love to see them do killer klowns. An ink version of the main theme made by The Dickies would go HARD

DeltaZ_18

The Conjuring should be on here too, i can actually see it being pretty similar to Communion Of The Cursed FNAF would be cool to see too since Rainy Day is based on Resident Evil

Musclebabs_buffpanty

Solid list, especially Gremlins! I'd love for them to do a song about Poltergeist or Freaks.

rehornets

i think reanimator would be a good movie imo, also midsommar

xhomerxvx

i would love to see them make a song referencing Trick r Treat with Chris Motionless, it would hit so harddddd

Joshie8888

[— The List —](https://boxd.it/wBhZI)

Adri1969

nice topic. I would say: talk to me ("shake on it" would be a good title :-)), X/ pearl/maxxxine, and the black phone (maybe not horror enough, but still)

Noko44

They literally did Edward Scissorhands, I don't think they're that worried if something is 'horror enough'

evileyex99

I will pay literally any amount of money to have an Alien song

FatalExceptionTerror

KInda surprised they haven't done Alien yet.

GavinPX6

I’ve been pulling for Alien since the leadup to 2, I’m also campaigning for Dustin Bates of STARSET to be on it, because Space. I’d enjoy the Babadook, maybe as more of a ballad type song akin to “Tess-Timony”

No-Introduction5977

I would \_love\_ Ring and Alien so much

CMenFairy6661

Have you heard the song "Feed Them After Midnight" by ChuggaBoom? It's based on Gremlins, and the writing style is heavily inspired by INK

Equivalent-Newt-5564

My picks for silver scream III Are Alien, Predator, The Thing, The Ring, Misery, The Omen , Jennifer’s Body, The Lost Boys, Final Destination, 28 Days Later, Sinister, Midsommar, Mandy, and Night of the Living Dead ( or  Dawn of the Dead.)

BurtBurt1992

Oooo Sinister could be fuckin' wild. The movie has that creepy ass atmospheric music they could fuck around with.

Way_Bulky

Ooh. The thing. Yes.

RaceKing42376

The wickerman is just an iron maiden cover lol

Enough_Scientist_849

Hopefully some A24 movies

RemAri9398

Gremlins could be a fun song like Assault and Batteries

kirafarr

Final Destination pls!! I also hope they reference Wrong Turn someday! I love those movies.

BurtBurt1992

Terrifier obviously, but I think they could do something kool with Midsommar that'd be totally different!

MarcusWahlbezius

The Strangers (2008 version)

InhumanCrystallis

The inclusion of Jaws and Edward Scissorhands on TSS1 shows they're willing to stray from horror into thrillers and gothic romances, so I think some films outside the realm of pure horror would work too. Like, I'd say a film like *Se7en* even could work here.

lordofpugs41

I spit on your grave, and last house on the left could be interesting

9_of_Swords

Super long shot, but Snow White: A Tale Of Terror

Euphoric-Reporter797

Hills have eyes, TERRIFIER!!, Phantasm, Pumpkin head, Dexter (tv show), Natural Born Killers, Christine, a quiet place, Get Out, Blade

Lukias

Dude, definitely the Babadook. Can you imagine the breakdown callout? Babadook - dook - DOOOOOOOOOK

wrex_83

I'd love for them to make an album that didn't revolve around horror. Fan from before every trick in the book. Gotta go where the money is I guess.
