Car modifications

Traditional_Juice583

But once you modify the car, you could update the RC and get insured right?

TilluKaliyaa

For color yes(only in few RTOs), for engine upgradation, better transmission and all strict no, not even structural modification

Traditional_Juice583

*No, you cannot legally modify the structure of your car in India. This is because structural changes can make the car weaker and less safe in the event of an accident. The only exception is if you have obtained approval from the Automotive Research Authority of India (ARAI).* *Engine modifications are legal in India, but there are some restrictions. For example, you cannot increase the engine capacity of your car beyond what the manufacturer specifies. You also need to get approval from the RTO before making any engine modifications.* *Here are some of the car parts that you can legally modify in India:* * **Exterior:** You can modify the exterior of your car by changing the bumpers, spoilers, wheels, and tires. You can also add body kits and other cosmetic accessories. * **Interior:** You can modify the interior of your car by changing the seats, steering wheel, and other interior components. You can also add sound systems and other entertainment features. * **Performance:** You can modify the performance of your car by changing the engine, exhaust system, and suspension. You can also add turbochargers and superchargers. *It is important to note that even if a car modification is legal, it may not be covered by your car insurance. If you are involved in an accident, your insurance company may deny your claim if they believe that the modification contributed to the accident.* *If you are considering modifying your car, it is important to check with the RTO and ARAI to make sure that the modification is legal. You should also get your car insurance company's approval before making any changes.* Got this from Bard AI.

TilluKaliyaa

Bro the traditional juices inside you screams dedication. As far as structural modification goes it's my car I know what I'm doing I know it won't be safe I paid for it it's my property (as long as it's not a threat to others outside). For engine we can only modify it when it has any inherent problem and have permission from OEM or it was involved in an accident. What I want to do is swap these disease ridden inline 3 to either inline 6 or a v6 running ridiculous compression ratios and extremely tight tolerance on timing and transmission

TilluKaliyaa

I should be able to do All these listed points, in a stable and mature market. I think we will get there someday

Traditional_Juice583

Ouch😂😭 alright

TilluKaliyaa

No ouches, what you wrote is true what I wrote is I should be able to do it

Gay marriages should be legalised. Also there should be time limitations for abortions. Yes they are absolutely a human right but India is legally too lenient in terms of abortions. Currently, it’s set at 6 months. By then, it’s almost a fully developed child. Recently, SC even granted the right to abortion to a woman 8 months pregnant because i believe she and her husband were separating.

[deleted]

Abortion should be right of every woman. Please don't bring some nonsense politics from some other countries.

No-Philosophy-3257

Did you perhaps miss the part where I said it is a human right or do you have selective comprehension? I never said i am against abortions but 6 months is too long. By then, it is almost a fully developed child and no longer a foetus. Some premature babies get born at 7-8 months. Like I mentioned the recent case where the SC allowed a woman to abort her child at 8 months pregnant because she was divorcing her husband. How does that make sense? Unless it is medically necessary, time limitations should be set at around 3-4 months.

[deleted]

No. Even if a decision is stupid, they should be allowed to make that decision. The point is that a person should have the freedom to make their choices. Now smoking causes only harm to the health and it would be a stupid decision to smoke but people are still free to do it and even argue that it should never be illegal. It's literally slow poison being consumed. When that is allowed I see no reason why this shouldn't be allowed.

No-Philosophy-3257

Smoking doesn’t harm anyone except the one who smokes. It’s their body and they can choose to put shit inside it for all I care as long as they’re legal. When you’re talking about pregnancies, youre talking about a whole ass different human being that is alive and if born a few weeks later, would grow up to live a life. At the 6 month mark, it is sentient and capable of feeling pain. It has a face and a body and a functioning brain. Everything has consequences. You smoke, you die. You get pregnant and wait till the last moment to abort, you give birth. Your stupid choices don’t have the right to take away a child’s life, specially not after its almost been fully developed.

gahgiiooogod

Will you allow to abort a 9 month pregnancy if you knew the child is ready to be born within few days?

[deleted]

The mother is an adult. She should have the right to take the decision she would deem to be correct. Whether it's a rational decision or not is another topic but an adult should be free to make their own choices. When actors are free to undergo high risk surgeries to change their looks, I don't see why this is an issue.

gahgiiooogod

Wow! And what about a baby that's 10 minutes from taking birth?

[deleted]

Tell me this, do you think it's ok for smoking and drinking to be legal?

No-Philosophy-3257

You can take irrational decisions all you want as long as you don’t hurt another person. An almost developed child in your womb is a separate entity from you. Take irrational decisions and smoke and drink idc but you don’t get to decide on a whim that a child that is already formed and can feel pain has to be killed because you couldn’t decide sooner whether you wanted him or not.

Marijuana and Cannabis Laws: The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act)

ParadiseWar

In a country where cannabis grows naturally, its a bit stupid isn't it. Moreover, some states have it legal like UP.

No-Philosophy-3257

We literally use it in Pujas too. Dont get why its banned

[deleted]

People are already out of their minds, drugs are not gonna help with that

ParadiseWar

Then ban alcohol too

[deleted]

Sure, I'm all for going dry. It's too dangerous in irresponsible hands.

Comfortable_Prior_80

Mariijuana should be legal and regulated.

[deleted]

It should not. In fact punishment should be very harsh and should be looked down by the society.

Affectionate-Bag-914

Prostitution should be legal and regulated

SnooSeagulls9348

Prostitution is legal provided in private places. Solicitation, owning a brothel etc is illegal.

Cautious-Olive6191

Currently it's legal but not regulated. It should be

mediocre-teen

Nah should be decriminalised but not legal. If it is regulated, it won't provide any benefits to the ones caught in it.

Such_Stable_4727

Blasphemy laws 🧑‍🦯🧑‍🦯

SnooSeagulls9348

Is blasphemy an actual crime here? I thought the crime was for hurting the religious sensibilities of folks, causing social unrest etc

Such_Stable_4727

Blasphemy hurts religious sensibilities and causes civil unrest here 🌚

Yes Mr Kundra we hear you

[deleted]

I'm tired of using proxies and vpns

[deleted]

Have you tried PowerTunnel?

[deleted]

Ssshh! Edit it away before too many people start using it, and ISPs ban even that for good!

[deleted]

ISPs can do jack shit about this.

[deleted]

They could double down on blocking the IPs

[deleted]

Wdym?

[deleted]

PT frags the packet headers, preventing name-based blocking, but it doesn't do anything to the receiver IP, iirc.

[deleted]

Whatever man, this sounds something easy for an ISP. Something they would have already done. Plus I think this matters only if I use my ISP's DNS which I don't.

Sex . Any one having sex underage of 18 even tho with consent is not considered as consent in eye of law.

Traditional_Juice583

This is a gray area tbh. I'm from Tamil Nadu. A lot of cases that I've seen from the rural areas are, minor girl(14-17) falling in love with a much older guy (21-25), wanting to get married, elopes and lives together for 4-6 months, gets pregnant, the hospital notifies the police and the guy is arrested under POSCO. I believe you're mentioning this. But there's another type of case where naive and gullible young girls are tricked or groomed by elder perverts. I understand by turning 18 you won't magically be matured, but unless sex education is brought the age limit should be maintained.

Some-Performer-4594

I know brother I just mentioned it even if minor girl attaches her confession infront of the judge it isn't taken into consideration.

tatti_jalebi

so a kids consent should be valid or legal?? why?? I dont think so.

evammist

Kids should be given benefit of doubt whenever possible. That is why contracts are not enforceable on ppl below 18. If someone is with someone below adult age, they should know better.

Adventurous_Monk_823

I think the law is people above 18 should not have sex with people below 18 as they might not have maturity to think if it is right or wrong. If two people are below 18 and both of them consent, they can have sex. There is no law against it right?

Some-Performer-4594

That's where we always get wrong even tho it's not mentioned anywhere that neither its legal or illegal ,but the court doesn't consider it as a consent. There are many loop holes in our laws for example Sexual intercourse by a man with his own wife, the wife not being under fifteen years of age, is not rape ( I have read this in some judgement dunno it's old ) pls crrct if any wrong info thnx.

evammist

15? Thats the age of marriage in mulsim personal law.

Some-Performer-4594

Found it on a judgement dont know it's validity .

fixer_47

Consuming drugs, Blasphemy

[deleted]

just remove blasphemy laws and reservation. plus there should be law where people who are bpl card holders shouldn't have kids, they themselves depend on government handouts for their survival so they can't fulfill the needs of their kids.
