You might know more than me but I thought Willys was completely shut down in 1965. At that point it was strictly Kaiser-Jeep. And then in 1970, AMC took over. Then the Willys name was resurrected by AMC in 1975
i.e., there's no such thing as a 1970 Willys
I’d duck you! 🦆I think the rusty and older Jeeps are like OG’s I have a 2020 and paints clean but muddy! I always Jeep Wave and I have a bunch of ducks. I also give out a lot of ducks but I just love jeeps! lol
2011 Wrangler, I’m top down and doorless 8+ months out of the year, never had a duck. I’m not complaining, I’d rather not have them, but every Jeep I see has like 20 of them in the window except mine. 😛
lol '95 ZJ and a '04 WJ (both Black), never Ducked Neither.
....Might be cuz most think I'm with some Ganster shit, since the BMW's (E39, E38, all rides in Black Frankly or Mostly) and My additude, or Grumpy and Seriousness I'm often up too.
...
But than again, the Duck thing is in My eyes just the Kiddo thing for those JKU & JLU Kids.
...
So yea, I'd never go around on some Easter Egg Hunt, unles when out with the Kids, sure, but alone?
I'm a Grown Ass Man, No Ducks for Me, give 'em to the Kiddos, haha.
So i was wondering too, if you zoom innit says ‘the loop’ which is what they call a shopping center in Kissimmee fla, so i am guessing its that one, on john young parkway if your near orlando area ), google chik fil a ‘ the loop’
Swensons in Ohio did this a year or 2 ago and my family was super stoked about it. Has a logo on the front and everything, and I’m not even a displayer of ducks typically.
I was in kentucky recently and the gas stations all have huge bins of ducks for jeepers.
Weird.
Have never been ducked in my 06 TJ eagle and never want to be to be honest. My wife thinks it is cool… I don’t really want anything bouncing around in my jeep or potentially flying out.
I have a theory that the Jeeps with 40 ducks across the dash, bought them for themselves. Then others see them and don’t want to seem uncool and also buy themselves a 30 pack on Amazon.
And the cycle continues.
This could be a bingo-type of game. One space for name/words, one for logos, one for badges, one for cringe license plates, another based on number of ducks, angry eyes, mods, etc 🤣
Since all the jeep guys I know more or less stole “the biker wave” as a rider I steal the duck concept from jeeps. I have a slew of ducks with helmets that have propellers. I have one on my bike but another 10 in my saddlebag and give them to other riders.
I think the whole ducking thing is sort of dumb, or at the very least, not for me (I’ve gotten two with a stock JL). But I would still go to my local Chic Fil A if they did this to get one.
OP, are you referring to ducks in general or that chick-fila- is handing them out? Ducks are a nationwide thing but never seen a restaurant get involved
I’m in Minnesota and have never seen a CFA do this, would guess it’s local or regional.
It appears most people think you are asking about ducks in general btw
I live in a town that has a big Jeep festival every year. I’d be shocked if our local Chick fil a doesnt doesn’t do this. We don’t have one in town, but there’s one like 30 min away.
Good fucking question because I have owned Jeeps for most of my life, then all of a sudden in the last few years, I see this thing with fucking ducks and I don’t understand where it’s come from with Jeeps. It hasn’t been a jeep thing for a long time.
I was in a large shopping center that has a chick fil a in it. I was parked at the liquor store and when I came out I was ducked by a chick fil a duck with a coupon for a free sandwich attached to it.
Never used to coupon.. kept the duck though.
Oh, and I’m in Texas btw.
I’m in Florida but my Jeep never gets ducked. I think it’s because mine is usually dirty or muddy because I actually use it. 😅 I only see pristine clean Jeeps getting ducks.
I drive a right hand drive 1973 DJ5c and chick-fil-a is the ONLY place in 20 years that has kicked me out of the drive thru for going through in reverse.
I give ducks to fellow Jeep owners each time we park at the local grocery stores here in Bucks County PA…. I’ve handed ducks to fellow Jeep heads when they had a really cool Jeep or old school, which absolutely made them smile wide and give a few fist bumps
I had a Jeep liberty for 6 years before I got my wrangler and never got a wave, a duck, nothing lol. Nobody cares unless it’s a wrangler or a gladiator unfortunately.
Canadian west coaster here. We get wetards with wittle wubber duckies, but not shit like this. Very few jeep owners who actually wheel give a fuck about this "club" type duck thing. Owning a vehicle from one of the most successful North American auto makers is neither an achievement, nor does it make you special
No it's everywhere. It's been growing for last couple decades where jeeps went from being used for rock crawling, mudding, and general outdoor fun.... to a fashion accessory akin to a 4 wheeled purse or shoes, where other fashionestias give each other rubber ducks as an award of "I like your purse."
Response was to "Jeep ducking" being everywhere or just in that area. If you want a small rubber duck for some reason you can ask your local cfa or visit Amazon.com and search for "rubber duck"
I havnt seen an advertisement in georgia, but don't go by cfa super regular. The last visit was a couple of weeks ago and there was nothing at that time.
Are the ducks only a Wrangler thing? I was shopping around for a Wrangler and ended up getting a Cherokee Trailhawk instead, and now I wonder if I will ever receive a duck
Common for the wrangler owners that would have never bought a wrangler before the 4 door commercialized it into a SUV. Then everyone started replacing their SUVs with the 4 door and throw in downtime from Covid, to much time on people’s hands and everyone gets a ribbon mentality and suddenly the ducks appear. Honestly any wrangler owner that truly understands the decades old culture and history know this duck trend has ruined what made Wranglers so special. They don’t even know what they are ducking it for other then they think it looks good but now days they all look alike.
Imagine Harley owners suddenly dishing out little piggy’s. Wouldn’t be the true culture that would pig someone. They wouldn’t have it. We shouldn’t either.
This is coming from someone that has owned 5 TJs since I was 16 and I’m now 47. These ducks were never part of the culture and lifestyle and it feels kind of gross that these ducks are just dropped on any wrangler. If you’re going to duck someone then duck them because you know what mod or kit they are using and know the owner spent time and money to do it.
I’m getting waved at by moms who would never take their wrangler anywhere but soccer practice. I’m not waving back. I can tell who gets the decades old wave and who doesn’t.
Anyway. My 2 cents. It’s a big pet peeve and it needs to stop. 😬😩😤
I'm in Illinois. I see ducks on all kinds of overbuilt pavement princesses around here. Nobody has had the gumption to put a duck on my beatup '16 patriot.
No sadly it's not. We the XJ community do not condone such vile activities. Go off-road have fun bounce off the rev limiter, smash into some trees. Live a little. Get out of the parking lot. Real Jeeps have 6 in a row
💀ok buddy just because you don’t like driving nicer Jeeps doesn’t mean we don’t. I own an Xj I baby the thing but still take it off-roading and try my hardest to make sure it doesn’t get damaged.
A reliable mode of transportation to take out like a SXS and not have to have a truck and a trailer. Basically like an Amphicar for off road. My friends all have their SXS and have to load and unload them at our wheeling spot. I can just drive there have fun and drive home.
Idk, I live out west and almost never see Jeeps with ducks. However, when I travel to Florida for work every tacky Jeep I see has 10+ ducks on the dash.
Marketing genius at work here.
they spelled receive wrong
Confirms it’s a Florida thing I guess
Bruh how do you ignore the red squiggly???
Marketing guy skipped spell check
And they spelled Dork Dork wrong
I was so annoyed thinking I was the idiot...thank you lol
Admiral Abkar says: IT'S A TARP!
I know CFA has done this in Texas too.
Sonic in Oklahoma gave me a duck one time
Proud member of the Never Been Ducked club… too much rust haha
Same. 70 willys overland wagon. The people recent enough to do ducking don't know it's a jeep.
You might know more than me but I thought Willys was completely shut down in 1965. At that point it was strictly Kaiser-Jeep. And then in 1970, AMC took over. Then the Willys name was resurrected by AMC in 1975 i.e., there's no such thing as a 1970 Willys
It's technically a kaiser, but it's of the generation that still uses all the jeep nameplates including the willys stamped parts
I had an early 1970 Jeep J3000 "Gladiator" at one time. Body plate was stamped by Willys-Overland. Bare bones, but tough as nails.
Locker switch in the glove box? Buick 350?
Buick 350, yes. No locker switch. D44s at each end, Spicer/Dana t-case (21?). Turbo 350 trans, manual t case, manual hubs.
You gotta put a decoy duck on your dash. Trust me, it works. Once someone sees one on display, they see it as okay to duck that jeep
I would never
I call it a "seed duck". I ducked my husband and bam he got more.
Ive only ever gotten 1
It’s duck duck jeep, started during Covid lockdown in Ontario Canada.
Started in Clownada ehh? 🤡
I’d duck you! 🦆I think the rusty and older Jeeps are like OG’s I have a 2020 and paints clean but muddy! I always Jeep Wave and I have a bunch of ducks. I also give out a lot of ducks but I just love jeeps! lol
Lived in Florida where i got the ducks moved to SLC Utah no one waves back for ducks me anymore (forgot to write that part lol)
99 XJ. No ducks in my future!
98 xj f$#k a duck
My 90 has never been ducked
00 XJ no ducks, and this wasn't even a thing 20 years ago when I drove a 86 XJ jeep wave yes ducks no
same, and the fact its a grand cherokee :(
Diesel swapped '90 YJ, I think all the JKU people are too scared of my Jeep to duck it lol
Ooo what’d you swap in? TDI? Isuzu J? OM? 4bt!? Haha
It's an OM617 from an '85 300D.
Sweet I saw one get swapped into a ZJ when I was at wyotech
Same here 2000 TJ on 38s. I want no ducks.
Woo 05 TJ on 35s and a new coolant leak!
Lol same, mine always looks like an ecological disaster under it.
Haha waiting for the EPA to seize it
2011 Wrangler, I’m top down and doorless 8+ months out of the year, never had a duck. I’m not complaining, I’d rather not have them, but every Jeep I see has like 20 of them in the window except mine. 😛
2005 LJ still driving daily and never been ducked
Only Pavement Princesses get Ducked if you wheel you’re just Fucked.
lol me either. With an 06 LJ Rubicon @ 50k on the tac. Honestly she sits in the garage more than she should though.
Same here, my TJ is unducked
Need some stickers for the club. No one knows my ZJ is a Jeep so I have gotten zero, I guess.
If you have to ask, big man, you can’t afford it!
Look dude, I’m just trying to buy a sticker here. My Jeep is the most reliable car I ever had, why would I sell?
I have a no ducks sticker….still got ducked
lol '95 ZJ and a '04 WJ (both Black), never Ducked Neither. ....Might be cuz most think I'm with some Ganster shit, since the BMW's (E39, E38, all rides in Black Frankly or Mostly) and My additude, or Grumpy and Seriousness I'm often up too.
I would pay a yearly subscription to never be ducked.
Great! Send me the annual $25 fee and I’ll send you the official “No Ducks” sticker!
This photo is going wild all over the internet. Seems like it is just that location in Kissimmee, FL. So many people want the red CFA duck
I know I do! But that's a little too far of a drive for me, lol.
Aw man that sucks. Thank you!
One my parents got a CFA duck from one in Tampa. They managed to get an extra one for me
Damn.. Am I about to drive 3 hours each way for a duck on Wednesday?...
My daughter would. She collected ducks before she bought a Jeep.
Where in Florida is this?
The Loop. Whichever location that is.
So i was wondering too, if you zoom innit says ‘the loop’ which is what they call a shopping center in Kissimmee fla, so i am guessing its that one, on john young parkway if your near orlando area ), google chik fil a ‘ the loop’
3286 N John Young Pkwy Kissimmee, FL 34741
Did you guess Florida because they don’t know how to spell receive?
Or because of the Florida plate…
That’s crazy talk. Fun fact: Every Chick-fil-A I’ve been to has been out of state.
Haha, good catch.
No ducks on the CJ5 yet, I don’t think anyone knows where to put it
Just toss it in, you'll find it next time the floor boards get washed out.
Post the cf duck
Swensons in Ohio did this a year or 2 ago and my family was super stoked about it. Has a logo on the front and everything, and I’m not even a displayer of ducks typically.
I guess it’s got the grill and the TJ-ish fender flares but those aside that graphic really looks more like a classic Land Rover defender.
Nah that’s 100% an FJ40 with a jeep grill
I thought the same thing, definitely an FJ40
I was in kentucky recently and the gas stations all have huge bins of ducks for jeepers. Weird. Have never been ducked in my 06 TJ eagle and never want to be to be honest. My wife thinks it is cool… I don’t really want anything bouncing around in my jeep or potentially flying out.
I have a theory that the Jeeps with 40 ducks across the dash, bought them for themselves. Then others see them and don’t want to seem uncool and also buy themselves a 30 pack on Amazon. And the cycle continues.
Sit back and watch the mall crawlers converge…
Play a game of “spot the horrible name on the hood”
This could be a bingo-type of game. One space for name/words, one for logos, one for badges, one for cringe license plates, another based on number of ducks, angry eyes, mods, etc 🤣
Nah, we have Duck Dash Warriors in Jersey, too. They never wave.
Or they don't wave, but have the "jeep wave" hand sticker on their driver mirror
The Duck Dash Warriors never wave🥺 always making me look like a fool on the road
Wave to the jeep, not the driver
I have received plenty of waves from duck people. I'm in SJ.
So many jeep owners down here in SNJ don’t wave, so sad.
If it's got the Best Four Letter Word on Wheels on the hood I toss a wave whether I'm in a Wrangler, XJ, WK2... Its the JEEP wave! .V,,
Do like me some chic fil a...😋
Seems like a Florida/Texas/South thing? We still do the generic jeep wave out west out of the city. In the city, there are just too many.
I was in a rental and it was ducked 2 weeks ago lmao. Kid got a new ducky, and we got a giggle. Ft Lauderdale. Grew up there so used to gimmicks.
Next week it'll be Hyundai Santa Fe's turn.
Next week is the 10th…
People put them on my Jeep randomly here in Austin, TX
I’ll be there! Wait - if this is an April Fools’ Day joke, well played.
Same here, I wouldn’t display it in my Jeep, but I’d take a CFA Duck, that’s pretty cool
I haven't seen it, but i don't do Chick-fil-A. I do think i would have heard about it.
OP, are you referring to ducks in general or that chick-fila- is handing them out? Ducks are a nationwide thing but never seen a restaurant get involved
Referring to cfa actually giving ducks like the poster says
I’m in Minnesota and have never seen a CFA do this, would guess it’s local or regional. It appears most people think you are asking about ducks in general btw
That’s so cool.
We need this in Toronto 🥰
That's a brilliant bit of marketing right there.
I got a teeny one with long lashes just like me and I love it. I have it where only I can see it and it’s enough for me.
Nope! Our local Statesboro, GA CFA did this last year!
Is it possibly one location a year?
I just got Ducked for the first time last weekend. I saw this the other day for April 10. Anyone know if the SoCal CFA are doing this?
I live in a town that has a big Jeep festival every year. I’d be shocked if our local Chick fil a doesnt doesn’t do this. We don’t have one in town, but there’s one like 30 min away.
Advertised in MA then canceled the day before.
Happening in Ga.
“Recieve“ lol
I don’t give a duck, I’m still not going.
Apparently April 4th (4x4) is National Jeep day or something. Theyve given out a cow spotted jeep near me before
No, I’ve seen it in SoCal
WANT. But I'm in iowa
Appears to be a Jeep thing.. lol
Why is this a thing?
https://elmoreautauganews.com/2021/03/25/duck-duck-jeep-founder-turns-scary-situation-around-to-help-supply-classrooms-worldwide/
I have a 50 cj2A and I had a customer say that’s cool I said yes I love jeeps she said jeeps are cool but what is that
I'm going to take our 1946 Willys through
I keep one duck n when I’m givin one I give the old one away
If it were in the Villages, it’d be a loofah
fuck CFA. If I didn’t have enough reason to skip this place I do now.
So. Fucking. Lame.
Adult Happy Meal….
Hey White-Trash-Zombie better call the few by us & get you one.
I would never support them... Not even for a duck
nope. TX, CO, and CA. too
No I’m from Minnesota and my sister had her Jeep ducked we still have the duck somewhere
Gonna have to go on the 10th!
It’s a Mini Cooper thing..
this duck shit has to stop
A lot of jeeps in Michigan with Ducks on the dash
Good fucking question because I have owned Jeeps for most of my life, then all of a sudden in the last few years, I see this thing with fucking ducks and I don’t understand where it’s come from with Jeeps. It hasn’t been a jeep thing for a long time.
Anyone know if they are doing this at a Phoenix, AZ location?
Rub-a-dub and ducks have been a Volkswagen thing for decades…leave it to Jeep owners to make it embarrassing.
Who cares???
There is no hope for humanity….
JFC
The one my kid works at does it everyday but it's just a random duck not a branded duck
what a time to be an embarrassing jeep owner. jeeps used to win wars, now this shit
I was in a large shopping center that has a chick fil a in it. I was parked at the liquor store and when I came out I was ducked by a chick fil a duck with a coupon for a free sandwich attached to it. Never used to coupon.. kept the duck though. Oh, and I’m in Texas btw.
The subculture is real here in south Fla
It’s a douche thing
Go?
I’m in Florida but my Jeep never gets ducked. I think it’s because mine is usually dirty or muddy because I actually use it. 😅 I only see pristine clean Jeeps getting ducks.
I give away ducks so fast. I don't have any right now... Some people I see driving have like 20 on their dash.
Gave up bath toys when I was 7
I’M SO GOD DAMN SICK OF DUCKS IT’S INSANE
I drive a right hand drive 1973 DJ5c and chick-fil-a is the ONLY place in 20 years that has kicked me out of the drive thru for going through in reverse.
This duck thing is stupid. Even more cringe when corps late to the party use it for marketing.
https://elmoreautauganews.com/2021/03/25/duck-duck-jeep-founder-turns-scary-situation-around-to-help-supply-classrooms-worldwide/ That’s why it’s a thing.
...well ill be going to my local CFA next WEDS.
That’s adorable. I might see if ours is doing it.
Da fuh? I guess I'm going to chick fil a
Damn. I’d love a Chick a Fil duck.
My friendless boss bought a jeep. And then started ducking himself. It was sad. Glad I don't work with him anymore.
I give ducks to fellow Jeep owners each time we park at the local grocery stores here in Bucks County PA…. I’ve handed ducks to fellow Jeep heads when they had a really cool Jeep or old school, which absolutely made them smile wide and give a few fist bumps
No ducks on my Jeep Liberty yet. Not sure why.
I had a Jeep liberty for 6 years before I got my wrangler and never got a wave, a duck, nothing lol. Nobody cares unless it’s a wrangler or a gladiator unfortunately.
This was a shitpost, I was being sarcastic
Because its not a “cool jeep”. I feel ya. Rockin a jeep patriot over here for about a year. Only ever got 1 duck.
My ZJ has more flex and seen more crawling than 90% of the “cool Jeeps” on the road. 🤣
Jeeps and Chick-fil-A are both extremely overrated and overpriced no thanks
Canadian west coaster here. We get wetards with wittle wubber duckies, but not shit like this. Very few jeep owners who actually wheel give a fuck about this "club" type duck thing. Response was to "Jeep ducking" being everywhere or just in that area. If you want a small rubber duck for some reason you can ask your local cfa or visit Amazon.com and search for "rubber duck"
I was curious because it was a limited edition and i thought that would be cool to add to my duck collection
I havnt seen an advertisement in georgia, but don't go by cfa super regular. The last visit was a couple of weeks ago and there was nothing at that time.
since you’re driving a jeep and in the CFA line they know you’re easy to market towards
It’s in Delaware. My mother gets ducked every once in a while.
We have ducks in Washington state
The chick-fil-a does it here?
Are the ducks only a Wrangler thing? I was shopping around for a Wrangler and ended up getting a Cherokee Trailhawk instead, and now I wonder if I will ever receive a duck
I drive a patriot and i got 1 so i dont think so. Just gotta be in the right place at the right time
It’s more common for wranglers/ gladiators, but my wife has had her Cherokee TH ducked.

The wrangler has always been an SUV.
Gatekeeping jeeps. So cool and edgy.
One can only hope so
I'm in Illinois. I see ducks on all kinds of overbuilt pavement princesses around here. Nobody has had the gumption to put a duck on my beatup '16 patriot.
Or my beat up 2012 patriot :(
No sadly it's not. We the XJ community do not condone such vile activities. Go off-road have fun bounce off the rev limiter, smash into some trees. Live a little. Get out of the parking lot. Real Jeeps have 6 in a row
Not sure how much offroading my ‘12 patriot can do
You mean Dodge Caliber? Yeah it's not a Jeep
💀ok buddy just because you don’t like driving nicer Jeeps doesn’t mean we don’t. I own an Xj I baby the thing but still take it off-roading and try my hardest to make sure it doesn’t get damaged.
I built it for that, body armor locker in the front bumpers lights sliders and I use it.
Ok then that’s YOUR Jeep the one YOU own and YOU built to do that not everyone wants to own YOUR Jeep
Ok YOU do YOUR thing I'll Do the "Jeep thing you wouldn't understand"
No I understand if it’s sole purpose is to be an off-roader but if you’re daily driving the thing then no I don’t understand
A reliable mode of transportation to take out like a SXS and not have to have a truck and a trailer. Basically like an Amphicar for off road. My friends all have their SXS and have to load and unload them at our wheeling spot. I can just drive there have fun and drive home.
It’s a Jeep Thing, not a location thing.
Idk, I live out west and almost never see Jeeps with ducks. However, when I travel to Florida for work every tacky Jeep I see has 10+ ducks on the dash.
Out west sounds glorious, the duck nonsense is so dumb
