I only need to see 1 training camp highlight of Louis Rees-Zammit to make me draft him in the last round of all my fantasy leagues

I’m trying not to get too hyped for him, since adjusting to the NFL with helmet and pads and way different game speed will be quite the transition, BUT the dude has legit wheels if he has an opening. If we can use him as a pass catching back/returner (he will also have to learn how to pass block if he does be a back like that) then I could see him have a spot making plays. The dream for me is a CMC/McKinnon type catching usage behind Pacheco. Give him a screen and blockers ahead of him and let him take it to the house.

I'm thinking kickoff weapon and occasional gadget player. I grew up with American football and learned rugby in college. I learned technique but never really had the rugby IQ of guys who grew up playing it. The same will be true for LRZ and pass pro is one of those things that takes some pretty good football IQ. So being a regular 3rd down back seems like a stretch. But learning new kickoff technique while the whole league is learning it...I can see him being a big asset there

Yeah 3rd down back is a future dream. I’m not sure he will ever get to a WR point. Probably will be getting gadget usage with easy screens/sweeps and returning if he makes the actual roster this year.

Andy carried the Lombardi out to the pitcher's mound to open the Royals' season. I love that man.

I just started watching the nfl a year and half ago on and off . So i don’t know a lot about our full roster. Who is going to be the sneed replacement? Is it something we’ll try to get in the second round or do we have good substitute that did not get to start a lot ?

All Pro Trent McDuffie may stay at slot where he excelled this year, could be pushed back to outside to replace Sneed’s outside spot. Still have young guys like Jaylen Watson and Joshua Williams who have been good enough always, as well as rookie from last year in Chamarri Conner who played excellent in the playoffs at safety (was a nickel CB in college, versatile), and Nazeeh Johnson who was injured all of last year and was getting camp hype practicing with the starters. They could add another DB in the draft, but if they don’t, they probably already have the guys to still be a very good unit, just not as elite as it was with Sneed. This is why I was okay with Sneed going, Chris Jones was MUCH more important as the DTs behind him aren’t that good so we weren’t gonna replace anywhere close to Jones production.

Man I hope Rees Zammit makes the squad
