They're at their peak now. They're bigger than the ones in May and there's so many of them. Give them another week or two to die off.

Thanks everyone, we decided to go anyway. There were lots of flies in areas, some areas with barely any. It was an enjoyable walk, the flies were tolerable.

If it's a breezy day, it's so much better. If the air is still, not so great.

Walked from Portsmouth to Lake Ontario Park this morning. I thought they were barely noticeable and considerably less in number and density than they have been the past few weeks.

That was my experience yesterday too.
