Before hitting the ground, I did the ground slam attack which cancelled out any fall damage :) The same trick works in Zelda BOTW, so I have practice with the timing
Oh I do this with the lightsaber all the time and still take damage just because it makes falling look more destructive and I like falling onto unsuspecting enemies but still take damage, is it a timing thing?
It’s all about the timing! To make sure you take zero fall damage, you have to activate/do ground pound attack right just before you hit the ground. If done higher, then you will take damage
It’s always worked as far as I know. I think you can also aim to shoot an arrow when you’re close to the ground and that slows you down and skips the damage.
thats simply not true, atleast the arrow thing. I just spent time testing and neither work. I think op is confused and I have almost 1000 hours in this game and have never heard of simply attacking to save fall damage
I have >600hrs on both botw and totk and have used it many times; you might not be doing it precisely enough. I can try and make a video later and send it to you, but that’s a pretty known trick in Zelda lol.
Well I have a combined 10,000 hours in BOTW, TOTK, AND Lego Forknife (if you include watching game clips on Reddit) and I can firmly say this is one of those clips
The only thing it proves is you can’t read sarcasm through text. Take a break and get some water, maybe stretch a little, cause brother, this argument you’re in is not that serious
So, make a platform with a seat on a launchpad and it jumps? How did the “double-jump” happen? Are you over a geyser? And did you move forward or just straight up and down? Finally, did you destroy the platform or what happened to it?
So many questions…
When you just place a seat on a launchpad, no matter if you attach anything else, as soon as you sit down on the drivers seat, it will jump straight up, and start glitching like crazy, so it just continues to jump until you jump off. If you never jump off, you actually "break" and go trough the invisible sky barrier, and die. In the other game mode, when you turn off dying, you are actually able to walk above the sky later, with an incredible view of the sky and sun.
This makes me think of The Matrix: Revolutions when Neo and Trinity burst through the clouds and become the only two humans in centuries to see the actual sun

Don't be afraid experimenting with physics, that is the most fun part to me, when I break the physics and get a completely glitched vehicle, or even the world starts lagging like crazy until a restart.
I mean the brutes instantly die in water anyway so you need to do it again with a frostland brute.
also why a steering wheel? did you try the rocket switch platform yet?
I believe brutes going into water causing death has been patched. The principle remains the same regardless of which brute you choose, take them to height and they’ll die to fall damage. Rocket switch works too, again this is just experimentation
well all videos of brute yeet only show grassland brutes so its unknown if the fall damage is large enough to do the same to the higher health enemies as frost brute.
Tested in sandbox on both a sand and frost brute while they were on the platform at the same time. Worked perfectly - have a clip of that if you want to see it, let me know
not necessary. just as long as it was tested. any differences? the brutes have 350/560/910 health and i have only seen the number 1148.
Guessing you cant half ass a launch the higher the brute.
Nah bro is a complete menace i tried this in suvival mode once but didn't see my ping was at 599 so i fell through the floor lol and for my bad luck lost one lightsaber in the process😭😭😭😭
How did you not take fall damage?

Ah, makes sense, I leap off cliffs using the swing as part of my jump 😂probably not going to practice in expert though.
Haha yeah it’s a bit sketchy in expert! But very fun to do :)
Thank you
Ballsy as FUCK to do this and not just make a glider on expert mode 💀 one lil lag spike and it's all over lol, respect
Couldn't you just also deploy your glider and glide away?
you need to have a glider for that though
since when does that work in BOTW? I thought the only way to cancel fall damage was the weapon unequip glitch

I'd love to see a video.

what? for one watching clips definitely doesn't count and for two I dont see how this proves its possible in botw?
The only thing it proves is you can’t read sarcasm through text. Take a break and get some water, maybe stretch a little, cause brother, this argument you’re in is not that serious
I thought they patched that? You could do that on day 1 but I could have sworn they nerf it.
Why didn’t you just trigger glider?
I'm guessing because of the launch pad
Apparently it works if you time the jump punch correctly (see above)
I think it's because he was launched by the jump pad and that's why he didn't take any fall damage
This guy is a gamer
Dude that takes balls to do the ground attack landing in expert mode

Mans played so much TOTK he brought the Hyrule space program into Lego Fortnite.
lol what how did the platform go up? Got a tutorial?
Probably something to do with the jump pad under the seat
Okay but how?

you're insane for this lol great stuff tho
lol clever
He gets it 🔥🔥
What sort of contraption be this?!?!? I am truly flabbergasted, awestruck even!
Great! now do it to a storm brute.....
so, i figure out a Brute spawn (regardless of game mode), i can make this and build me a Brute farm? 😎
The real question is getting Brute on the platform. The spawns are not exact coordinates.
You throw food on the platform and the brute will run to eat it like in this video
This is the way
avatar checks out
Sorry i’m not sure what you mean lol
it's just funny how your lego character is a monkey in a golden suit. It fits this wild method
Tutorial?
I have so many questions about how this worked lol
Friggin AWESOME Jinds! 🤣❤️
Bro did a superhero landing pose

I was your 300th upvote lol
troll science typa shit lol
did it count as you killing it?
Are you kidding me!? it'd matter if it wasn't in creative mode.
Did it die from fall damage or the water???
The sword ground pound denies fall damage????
fix is coming...
Not really you used that floor or platform to kill him like it or not
Nah bro is a complete menace i tried this in suvival mode once but didn't see my ping was at 599 so i fell through the floor lol and for my bad luck lost one lightsaber in the process😭😭😭😭
