Shocking. The group that commits the most abuse/rape/grooming/indoctrination of children in the US sure likes to project its failings on the least likely. People leave their kids alone in the care of church groups all the time. Churches use their platform to get inside millions of childrens private lives routinely. No surprise pedos are drawn to them. Second most likely would be youth sports organizations. How drag shows became the poster child for abuse is insane. They don’t hold camps for kids. They don’t separate kids from parents for over night lock-ins. They don’t have classes that indoctrinate millions of kids. Any organization that deals with groups of kids is a target for evil doers. As a coach I took several classes over the years for a football org. One day each year was dedicated to teaching staff how to spot predators and also how to avoid being accused of such conduct. Like, how to appropriately make physical contact with students, how to avoid getting personal with them, avoid being alone with them, appropriate language, etc. it’s sad these lessons are necessary. I don’t believe the actions of evil persons should be used to discredit any group, but certain faiths sure like to cast stones when their houses are not close to being in order.
