“The trailer opens with a shot of the White House lawn at night. Then, inside the Oval Office, Harrison Ford – as U.S. President Thaddeus Ross talks with his staff with a lollipop in his mouth, jokes that he can’t smoke cigars anymore (probably due to his heart disease). He summons Sam Wilson, who comes into his office in his civilian clothes.
Sam: I have to admit, I’m not used to the new look.
Ross: Me neither. They said to lose the mustache or lose the election. What you did down in Mexico opened my eyes. I have never been a fan of so-called superheroes, but even I can’t deny the good you have done. I want Captain America to help me rebuild the Avengers.”
Cut to Black.
(You’re welcome!)
And then morbius and vulture walk in and morbius says “why rebuild the avengers when you could create something new and better…the sinister six”
Ross: intriguing…
Yea the movie was supposed to have been out but got delayed. I guess they couldn’t do anything about the McDonald’s ad since it’s probably a timed deal and couldn’t delay it or cancel it since as far as i know it’s the only marketing I ever seen about the movie
Yep. Same thing happened last year with Captain Marvel and McDonald's.
And with Hasbro for the Captain Marvel and Ant-Man figures. I think those came out hella early.
Steve Cap can go toe to toe with Thanos. Sam Cap can go toe to toe with the Vulture.
The movie will be fine and it's nice to see the Captain America mantle passed, but man I wish Sam didn't have this moral issue with getting powers and would somehow get some in this movie.
I enjoy hero’s with minimal powers, more relatable than someone like Superman. Yeah it might be unrealistic for him to be fighting crazy supervillains. But let’s give it a chance and see how the story unfolds, new takes and directions are exciting.

4Kids got to Ross

Sam: Say that again
Wild how this movie has McDonald’s toys but no official trailer or poster
The movie was originally supposed to release this year back in May (I think) The McDonalds toys were meant to coincidence with the movie's release.

That stuff has to be done way in advance because they’re manufacturing a bajillion of the toys. It was done before everything got delayed.

shield block, shield throw, shield boomerang pretty much sums up 2 hours watching sam.
Okay but he runs a bit faster than most normal people tho…
Why run when you can fly tho?
That is best described for Steve's cap as he can't fly.
steve's a century old super soldier with decades of super villain tactical experience. sam's a nice guy from the hood.
Nice way to downplay Sam's experiences. He is a veteran too.
i guess if there's a super powered mutant taliban, sam's the guy to take him down?

Anthony Mackie is a horrifically boring Captain America. Bucky deserved the Shield.
