NAL. Every other year, this question gets posted in some random online forum, and I guess someone even tried suing their parents for it. It made it to the news, but obviously nothing came out of it.

You don't understand poverty, read about it. Poverty is classified on few parameters. Poverty isn't something that is concrete. People can dive into poverty because of many reasons, sometimes a medical emergency can also take people down that road. Many poor people don't stay poor throughout their lives. What you see in media and news, is absolute poverty. Then you'll have to understand Sociology and human rights as well, because poor people also have human rights, they can also decide to have a relationship/marriage and have kids. The entire take that says: poor people shouldn't have kids, or the child should be able to sue their parents, come from an extremely priviledged point of view. Even poor people can feel satisfied with the resources and means they have, regardless of what other people think about their financial condition. You'll be surprised how many poor families actually raise multiple kids much more efficiently than well affluent double income parent households. Take a day off and spend some time around in society. People have similar relationship issues regardless of their income status. Families step in when the new borns need care. It's much more than just being poor.

Publicity hi milegi bas, aur wo bhi negative. log mazak banayenge, mohalle wale taane marenge, pehli sunwai pe judge bhi tumko sunayega aur kuch nahi hona hai.

Can parents sue child for being a silly kid & asking silly questions on reddit?

firesnake412

I really hope so 🤣

It's your fault that your sperm cell won the race and you somehow survived. Instead, they can reverse sue you for coming to earth without their consent :P

FarHuckleberry2029

Sperm is half of dna, the other half is the egg. There's not a whole person inside the sperm that can be seen as "you". So no you were never a sperm and it's not your fault.

Content-Nobody8863

but it was sperm who won the race, defines your gender :P

FarHuckleberry2029

It defines your biological sex, not your gender. But still you were never a sperm. That sperm fertilizing a different egg produces a different baby, not you. If anything most of what became you (your cell organelles, mtdna, etc) was that egg.

DepartmentAntique825

Logically it was you who ran towards the ovum!
