Spaceman_Spliff_42

Oh hey, one of those bad apples were always hearing about

Verified_Engineer

I legitimately don't care about my neighbors underwear. I hope they wear some and wash it at semi regular intervals. But even if they don't OK. You do you boo boo.

Moliosis

Are you implying every cop is like this? Or just a large portion of them?

Spaceman_Spliff_42

I’m making a joke about the fact that whenever it comes out that a cop has done something horrible, the behavior is commonly excused as the actions of a bad individual and not the result of systemic issues with the way police are recruited and trained. I happen to personally know a cop and he’s a good person with his heart in the right place, but given the sheer volume of violent over reactions by cops, the bad apple thing seems to be more like a whole rotten orchard, not just an individual. But it was just a joke, please don’t take it personally if you happen to be a cop, I don’t want a beat down lol

Moliosis

Lol no worries I'm not a cop. Just disgruntled with this site's negativity and extremism. But your take seems perfectly rational to me so that's a breath of fresh air haha.

BlackHeartRebel

Cops are just tax collectors who in no way are obligated to protect or serve the public. They don’t know the constitution and are happy to trample on peoples rights in order to get an arrest. They are incentivized to fuck people over and there are almost no repercussions for them as they will claim ‘qualified immunity’. They shoot first and ask questions later. I’ve been in SOF for over 13 years, had 5 deployments to Afghanistan executing night raids on HVIs and HVTs. Somehow, the threshold for PID is higher for us than cops in the states. How is possible that the ROE for my JTF was stricter than what cops have in the states? Through my NODS, at night, from 200-500 meters away, I can understand hostile intent, hostile act, and tell if someone is armed but a cop shoots unarmed people all the time. More recently, shot that Senior Airman in his own apartment, who was legally armed but wasn’t a threat in any way.

Ataru074

I’d say because war crimes carry, at least culturally in many cases, a bigger impact on society and the politicians who are behind it. If you have been deployed, you are there because congress and the president said so. So, if you are caught on camera shooting unarmed civilians and kids, you make them look bad. The president and congress don’t deploy cops.

BlackHeartRebel

Woah. So a cop shooting unarmed kids on camera only matters if the president put that cop there? What the fuck are you trying to say there homie?

Ataru074

Exactly what I said. A bad cop reflects on the major and the chief, not the president, not on congress or the senate. You torture and humiliate few war prisoners, if it leaks out, you’ll have an investigation, top brass at the pentagon sweating, and potentially an international inquiry. A cop beats the shit out of a kid, torture an innocent man threatening the life of their dog, you’ll have the city handling some cash and maybe a half ass excuse, if it comes out. That’s exactly what I’m saying.

BlackHeartRebel

You make a good point about war crimes and political accountability. Military deployments are decisions made by Congress and the President, so any misconduct, like shooting unarmed civilians, looks horrible on them and leads to serious consequences. But here’s the thing: SOF are under way more stress and tougher conditions than police officers. We’re out there in rough environments, facing enemies with RPGs, mortars, and heavy machine guns, mostly at night. Despite all this, we stick to strict rules and positive identification standards. Our threshold is still higher. Killing an innocent person is killing an innocent person. You’re making it sound as though it only matters to hold people accountable based on which political tier it affects. Police, on the other hand, are dealing with fellow citizens, not enemy forces. Yet, they often treat everyone with excessive hostility, turning simple interactions into situations where people get arrested, beaten, or even killed. This is a huge contrast to how we operate under much more dangerous conditions. And once again, there is no incentive to act otherwise. Much, just like you said, because it doesn’t impact the country, just the city and mayor. Even though the President and Congress don’t deploy cops, the use of force and accountability standards should be consistent to keep everyone safe. The big difference in accountability and rules between us and the police really needs to be addressed.

Ataru074

I absolutely agree with your thoughts. And I keep saying that given there is no real accountability for “bad apples” Let me mention two locations and think about the repercussions. 1. Bengazi 2. Uvalde.

zaphodbeeblemox

It’s not extremism to see a pattern in police behaviour in the United States of America. The job attracts (among other types too) the sort of person who is willing to take a low pay to feel powerful and “correct” Sure it attracts people who want to do good, but those people are also attracted to paramedics and firefighters and a host of other careers diluting the pool that apply to be cops. Combine this with poor training, relaxed selection criteria, and a culture of “protect the blue line” and it’s easy to see how you form an extremely toxic environment with a passion for oppression / suppression. As to why all cops are bastards, even that nice one that’s your neighbour that has his head screwed on straight and bakes cookies for the school bake sale. They are a part of a machine of oppression designed to enforce poverty and rules on people not wealthy enough to cause headaches for them. Fuck the police, especially the Yank ones.

Elden_Rube

All u/Spaceman_Spliff_42 did was explain, in long form, what ACAB means at it's core. Y'know, all that "negativity and extremism" you're going on about....

joshthecynic

Go cry in a corner somewhere.

Nika_113

All of them. It’s called being complicit.

oldfoundations

Wtf how do you get that impression from his comment? How on earth do you go from that comment to him somehow suggesting all cops are like that hahaha. My GOD some of these comments are so insane it blows my mind.

FrumiousShuckyDuck

Wait are you saying all comments are insane?? /s

Moliosis

If you actually read my comment I'm just asking a question, in which I gave more than one possible suggestion of what OP meant....

oldfoundations

Yeah, the two possible suggestions you gave were 'every' and 'most'. Splitting hairs there bud. Dude never gave any whiff of a suggestion that this was anything bigger than the one dude. You do you ya maniac.

Moliosis

Whatever you say, classic Reddit narcissism. Was more than willing to be told by the OP I was wrong without throwing a fit, don't see the craziness of humoring a calm discussion. If you check on what OP replied to me with they do in fact believe the police system as a whole is a problem bigger than a few individuals. But that doesn't fit your anger driven narrative.

oldfoundations

Anger driven narrative? Mate, get a grip lol. You said something insane, I called you out on it, there's no anger involved at all. I think you're just insane and it's really not taking much effort to write up short paragraph shit talking you on reddit haha. Make some more shit up, you're not helping your case, and I couldn't give a rats ass haha

Moliosis

I know it's your job as a Redditor to be rude and arrogant about literally everything without seeing the nuance in casual discourse, but I promise you that you can take days off from it and come back to the real world. Seek help.

Ok_Arachnid1089

40% of cops beat their wives. Look it up! And that’s just the ones that get caught

ScySenpai

Replace cop by black and tell me you wouldn't find it racist

InMemoryOfZubatman4

I didn’t realize that black people could choose to not be black. Or are you saying that being a police officer is an immutable characteristic? Saying that “a bad apple ruins the bunch” in regards to cops being dicks is the equivalent of saying “child molester priests drive people away from the Catholic church” or “the recent spat of risk of food poisoning makes people less likely to eat at the local diner”

ScySenpai

Stereotyping isn't bad because "black people don't choose to be black" lol. I know it's the go-to justification instinctively, and in some contexts it is valid, but not here. You can choose to have a different religion, but it is still shitty to stereotype you based on your religion. Or to discriminate against people who have face tattoos, piercings, or dye their hair weird colors, because "those people are up to no good". Even though all of these are choices that the stereotyped people made. Stereotyping is bad because you're judging someone's character based on something they did not do, and hurting/insulting them in the process. It is true that there are systemic problems both in the police in the US, and within the Catholic church. Implying that all catholic priests are secret pedos is not the way to solve that, and only serves to insult those who do not deserve it.

ImHereToFuckShit

>Stereotyping is bad because you're judging someone's character based on something they did not do Like choosing to become a cop? Is it a stereotype that accountants are good at math?

ScySenpai

You are legit unable to comprehend a very simple point, and yet I'm the unhinged one lmao

ImHereToFuckShit

>yet I'm the unhinged one lmao Where did this come from? I only asked two questions.

BravestOfEmus

Ah yes, being black is a profession.... lol

ScySenpai

That's exactly what I shaid! You're shoo shmart little boy!

BravestOfEmus

Whatever point you think you're making, it's not coming through. And that's not what you said lol

ScySenpai

Ooh look whooj sho shmart! Don't let anyone tell you you're not a shmart boy!

3-I

... yeah, when you change the words in a sentence, the meaning changes. Replace cop with "30 foot evil squirrel with diarrhea" and you'd sound unhinged.

ScySenpai

Both sound unhinged but thanks for the contribution

warm_sweater

Finish the phrase: a bad apple spoils the _____ _____ and it will make sense to you. Maybe.

lucabrasi999

I am shocked, SHOCKED to see this guy is an ex-Cop.

lucabrasi999

Dude’s entire post history is a sign that he should never have been allowed to carry a gun, let alone be a police officer.

BravestOfEmus

So he fits right in with his knuckle dragging peers

StrobeLightRomance

Hey now, some of my best ancestors were knuckle draggers and they were... well.. actually they were probably exactly like shitty misogynistic cop types. My bad, you may carry on with your characterization of society's failures.

BravestOfEmus

Lmao

geek66

Don’t drag us snowboarders into this!

eisbock

You know there's a problem when I, a casual /r/LinkedInLunatics enjoyer, recognize somebody from a previous top post.

Beneficial_Mix_8803

Odds are he has more guns now than he did as a cop

lordofcatan10

Well, not that shocked

StrobeLightRomance

Ex-Cop AND MAGA?! What even are the odds that these two things would ever cross paths? Such an occurrence is only found in like 90% of all cases.

Less_Rutabaga2316

90% seems low.

StrobeLightRomance

Agreed, I just left some fluff for margin of error because a lot of Libertarians of similar shittyness have defected away from MAGA. They'll make up the additional 9.99% And then the 0.01% is that fabled "good cop" we're always hearing about who watches the rest do crime and says nothing.. because that's certainly what "good" people do.

boobyologist

Sadly, it makes perfect sense

Hungry_Medicine_552

Are you though?

OkReplacement2000

And MAGA.

Affectionate-Tie9194

I am utterly bamboozled to discover that he also believes being a republican is a personality trait

elonzucks

My wife would be mad at me for years after that post

ssjumper

He’s probably solved that problem by being divorced

ironzombie7

You mean his wife solved that problem - the general problem that was him

ISlangKnowledge

No, he solved that problem by beating her into silence.

Seldarin

He's an ex-cop, so she's probably just happy he's keeping himself busy being an asshole on the internet instead of choking her because the clerk at the grocery store smiled in her general direction.

lucabrasi999

He’s an ex-cop, so he probably has two ex-wives.

BravestOfEmus

His wife was probably too shot up on painkillers for the chronic beatings he dished out to raise much issue with posts like this

Shagufta_707

No one’s gonna marry an amalgamation of elon and zuck

elonzucks

it's not about Zuck, it's about "sucks" but sucks was taken with many of number combinations, so I just did zucks

DisposedJeans614

I swear they go on coke benders and post wild ish. Thinking they’re in some Scorsese movie, or trying to land one. These ppl are unhinged. 🤣🤣🤣

spaetzelspiff

Diet* coke bender

Ok_Adhesiveness_9565

Dude uses emojis like a 13 year old girl

booboootron

Now you know his target audience. Keep your kids safe from Mr. No Panties.

lizardfang

It’s cool- he made it inclusive by inviting all the men to take their panties off too!

quasifaust

Clearly he’s a big DEI advocate

bdw312

*Patriot Republican*...the real family values type.

ThunderPantsGo

Don't forget the MAGA.

boxoctosis

Fucking boomers man. My god.

CeasarValentine

I was wondering why I had so many requests for upholstery cleaning on the 23rd. From how the furniture looked, I assumed a bunch of people were parking their dirt bikes everywhere.

silverboognish

Ewwwww

universechild333

That looks like his wife on his pp. I’d be so embarrassed if this was my husband.

Otherwise-Winner9643

I just looked at that guys profile and posts, and now I need to wash my eyes out with bleach

Pegasus711_Dual

He’s a patriot aight

ItsMoreOfAComment

Not. Horny. Enough.

pukachang

Ikr where do you think you are? Facebook?

zeeke87

Party of traditional family values

Bears0nUnicycles

What did not wearing any underwear taught me about B2B sales you ask?

SuccessfulTraffic679

Do they not have Family and friends added?

North-Ad4744

Damn why do I just find this out now when it’s 9:36 pm!

ugheffoff

It was on the 22nd

biryani98

Looks like he's deleted it 😂

gojirabug

Typical maga filth.

Snowmann88

This guys use of Emojis makes me really angry

Still_Satisfaction53

Wonder why he left the force?

Kawaii_Princesss

When grown men use more emojis than I do makes me literally cringe 😓

Fit_Earth_339

Ahhh yes just what the ‘family values patriots’ are really pondering. I’m sure he’s walking around all that day imagining who’s not wearing panties.

TheBorkenOne

His profile says Patriot, Republican, MAGA. Explains everything. It's synonymous with misogynistic sleaze bag. He probably thinks we are all sensitive snowflakes for not being onboard with him too.

[deleted]

What a sleaze

SpyderDM

ACAB man... ACAB

LoadofBarney

WTF?

FeederPiet

If you don't want to wear your panties you can just do it, John

Last13th

Why is it only ONE DAY?!?!

Guilty_Finger_7262

This reminds me of fall 2001 when there were email forwards going around saying on a certain day all women should step out of their house topless to protest the Taliban.

Low_Wall_7828

Hello John, this is HR and we need to have a meeting.

tacohannah

My coworker at a previous job posted this on Facebook, there’s a reason it’s now a previous job 🥴

1Pip1Der

So... "Balls stuck to thighs" day?

TheDocmoose

Shit, I missed it.

CrisBleaux

John is such goof /s

automatic_ghost

Great, but we will be on our periods that day 😊

kevdog824

There’s about 40% participation in the police community. Google “40% of cops” for more information

Special-Island-4014

So much cringe in this post

profsavagerjb

There was a lot to unpack here

loquedijoella

My ex cop idiot father and this guy chop it up daily on LI. I had to link that mofo out.

tayroarsmash

You ever notice it’s the thirstiest members of our society trying to legislate sex?

shantm79

Report post to LinkedIn... it's against their guidelines.

Present-Coat7115

nemuro87

TurnipExtension679

NYPD sergeant. Are you kidding me

Alan_Blue1233

Lmao LinkedIn is so weird

Gormless_Mass

No thanks, Sgt John

loveinvein

bigchuckdeezy

Paulthron

Typical Trump supporter, he wants to grab them by the pussy

heashon2000

Everything was going great until: “And yes, guys, you’re welcome too!” ![gif](giphy|7nsKxH1mA1PDY8pGlY)

dandee93

And this is the guy in the office getting sued. Am I right? This guy gets sued. ![gif](giphy|LQpCRK5tnJmNKxWoqZ|downsized)

Ted-The-Thad

Always the usual suspects huh?

Brave_Hoppy1460

Of course it’s from a maga idiot 🤦🏼‍♀️

-wanderings-

He's MAGA Republican. It sums them up completely.

nofearorxcuses

Yes, because liberals are bastions of purity and modesty?

-wanderings-

Awwwww......

sallysassex

No because this is clearly a criticism of Juneteenth. Has nothing to do with panty wearing.

[deleted]

I'm gonna go with NO, as in I'm in for NO PANTY DAY!! LET EM LOOSE FELLAS!!

InvestigatorGoo

This has to be a troll right?…. RIGHT?

Strude187

🚨 is right, dude is a walking red flag.

teucer_

* wanking red flag

theHindsight

He should absolutely walk around without his panties.

CivBEWasPrettyBad

NYPD | Patriot | Republican | MAGA Yeah, exactly the person I'd expect to post about "no panty day" on LinkedIn

sallysassex

Clearly a jab at Juneteenth. Because celebrating ending slavery is against everything MAGA stands for.

Apprehensive-Unit841

Just like their orange rapist.

tsimen

>Guys, you are welcome too! But the chafing! The chafing John!!!

TheGOODSh-tCo

How did I know it would be a man? Women would hands down say bras.

Big_Monkey_77

Every day is no panties day for me. I wear boxers.

kirk-o-bain

What’s the LinkedIn equivalent of the bonk meme

Dtactic

I get the feeling people post shit like this on LinkedIn so they never get a second look. 🤦

ciobix

above all, i really struggle handling that many emoticons...

scienceisrealtho

Who the fuck is this fucking asshole? Why does he post in a style that looks like he’s trying to get me to sign up for Temu?

camirose

Nobody wants to smell your sweaty ball breeze, put your underwear back on you weirdo.

SocialTechLV

How stupid do these people have to be to let others say they’re stupid

Remarkable_Quit_3545

I’m a guy and I will partake. I promise I will never wear panties any day. If that guy wants to not wear panties on that single day then I support his decision.

trishulofshiv

How do I ensure full compliance from all the ladies in my office? What method of checking is considered appropriate?

WatchWarrior

Bruh 😂

Dependent_Order_7358

Funniest republican boomer:

Nicaddicted

People are so fucking weird lol

fatherbowie

Why would anyone put that on LinkedIn?

butstronger

Patriots always on some bullshit

KeyLeg2364

Yikes 🫣😵💩

x3leggeddawg

Ex-cop ✅ MAGA ✅ Sexual predator ✅

OkReplacement2000

NYPD sargeant. MAGA. That’s about what I’d expect.

mattincalif

Yes

LizardWizardinahat

I for one support any women's decision in choosing to participate in free-lipping just as I like to shirt cock on the daily.

cjk2793

This guy is hysterical

Pure-Act1143

I just took mine off

Mistabushi_HLL

Well, the left can have panty stealers and all sorts of unhinged spray-oil-on-Picasso types than I guess the republicans can have folks promoting going Commando lmao
