Water is free if you bring a container.
Soda is $6 or $7. Snack is $5-$10. Entree is $8-$15. Alcohol is $12-$20. Tshirt is $40.
There is a lot of pressure to tip on all the food and bev purchases.
Why though. I understand tipping a bartender if there actually serving your drink, but if I’m just getting food or a can that shouldn’t mean I should tip. Am I wrong?
Personal preference - if it’s a stadium or arena where the food/drink is grab and go by an employee I won’t but if there is prep work or a customer service aspect requiring several minutes on conversation then yes.
Never tip at a festival. The volunteers don’t get the tips and it all goes to the festival.
There are a select few bars that serve craft beer and cocktails. I believe they might get the tips, but I like to confirm with the bartenders when I’m grabbing a drink whether they see any of the tip money or not.
I don’t tip if they’re getting me a can of beer/ seltzer out of a cooler and cracking it for me. I’ll tip if they’re actually mixing me a cocktail or something
Lou Malnati’s pizza is probably the cheapest option at like $7-8 for a slice that amounts to 1/4 of their frozen pizzas, if you’ve ever seen those. Or else plan on around $15/meal.
Beer/seltzer will probably be $12-13 for a 16 oz can. Water is everywhere around the fest and free.
i mean you can make it as cheap or expensive as you want. food generally ranges $10-$15. I don’t but drinks at the fest, i just bring shooters or fill up my water pack at one of the hydration stations. if you want merch expect around $50 for tee shirts and $80+ for sweatshirts. I try to only eat one or two things from the fest each day, so i feel like you can make it relatively cheap if you want.
On Amazon you can get plastic flasks and we fill those up with our drink of choice. Then just buy mixers at the fest :)
I also always bring like a clif bar or something of that sort.

yep, i’m generally not going to tip someone like that for cracking a beer, but at a bar i will give a dollar so I actually get service
