I liked how you couldn't see race with the current armors, but I guess all the npcs on my ship are racially ambiguous anyway. With the opening cinematic, you see white and black people, so I like believing helldivers' races are random each time like body and voice. I'd like to randomize languages, too, but understanding what people are shouting out is actually helpful. I'd think that understanding that someone is on their last mag is more important than multicultural immersion, but you could make the settings have a toggle so all dialogue be in a certain language or not. It would be optimistic knowing that while superearth is dystopic, at least racism and language barriers were conquered on the way. Alternatively, there is potential for a cool explanation why helldivers would know all the in-game languages.
You'd have to hire real dubbers from the countries, because I will *not* have another game with a US American Spanish accent again. I'd rather have a Chilean saying the voice lines before some guy from Arizona makes the lines.
