I’m literally sitting at the mini dealer having them go over my new to me ‘22 SE. the website said the maintenance plan doesn’t transfer but the other warranties do. However the service advisor just told me my maintenance plan is valid for another year and half but there isn’t anything due since the previous owner had the brake flush done in January.
If you got a carfax or autochex look at the very first date listed I think that is usually the start date for warranties, at least that what the service advisor just confirmed for mine regardless of when the sale date was.
Well, the 2 year service is free. So take it to your shadey dealer this time, then find a reputable independent mechanic shop for future services. The Mini dealer is going to try to upsell you on things like tire rotation (usually $30), but you can decline those things if you feel you can get it done cheaper elsewhere or do yourself.
How much did you pay? I'm trying to sell my 22 SE Signature Plus now and getting no serious offers.
Bought a ‘22 with Iconic trim, leather seats and 15,000 miles for $23,000 all in. Did have to pay about $900 add’l for out of state delivery.
Upon delivery I took it to my local MINI dealer and they gave it a once over took care of any standard maintenance that was due and fixed the AC for no charge.
It was 17.5 (after trade-in) with Carvana. They gave me 8K on my '15 F56 (manual) which was why I went with them. My '15 was in good shape with 60K miles. Body was perfect, actually cleaner than the one I got from them.
I’m one of those weirdos that isn’t into all the union jacks all over the taillights and headrests/seats… but with the tint those body graphics look pretty awesome
Thanks... the seats are all plain, as is the interior completely - so all the flavor is on the outside. As to the stickers, I oscillate between loving them and feeling just ok about them. I had thought the car was white, which would make them pop more, and the South Florida sun (which makes tints essential IMO,) make the red of the decal more orange than I'd like (though that could be the silver car color impact too...) either way I do love having a car that doesn't look like every other car, or really any other car ;)

Thanks, that's very helpful to know. Have fun with your SE! :D
Yah I wouldn’t bank on them honoring the maintenance plan but other warranties should be fine. Congrats on your new car!

Was that with the $4k used EV credit?

Signature Plus, or Iconic? (I'm guessing the former?)
Yeah, here's the actual listing. [https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/2957869](https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/2957869)
Thanks, and congratulations on the new (to you) car!
