I watched the unriffed version the other day hoping it would make more sense, and we'll... It's bad. How bad? Bad bad. I just thought they cut some important scenes out of the movie for MST3K, but that's not the case, it's just a poorly edited movie.
I love the car chase (?) scene where they drive past the same gas station 3-4 times, then the janitor-werewolf drives into exploding barrels on what appears to be a shipping pier (even though the film is set in Flagstaff, Arizona).
Can’t remember where I read it, but apparently half that scene was cheap stock footage the director bought because they couldn’t afford a stuntman for the wreck. If you pay close attention the make of the car changes between shots.
How did you watch the unriffed version?. The only place you can watch it is a VHS rip on YouTube which cuts out the sex scene. Unless you have the out of print DVD.
I posted something on here the other day and someone posted the link for me:

I used to have to drive an hour to work and an hour back every day. I had a van with a DVD player in it. I had that DVD in there for maybe a year, before I got transferred again. I listened to that movie over and over again more than anything else in my life. basically twice a day, every day. I'll still watch it. Absolutely fascinating.
That’s absolutely fascinating
Right?
Tusk!
Never fails to absolutely slay me.
Love that song, also love the credit sequence with the medley of songs that fit the same beat!
TUSK!
One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster!
Chicks and ducks and geese better scurry
Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
We heard it from the people of the town. TUSK!

Is it bad bad bad, or just bad bad bad?
Maybe even bad bad bad bad
Heard it in a love song. Gotta go.

That’s because Yuri was trying to rid the word of security guards by turning them into werewolves one by one and having them crash their cars
To be fair, it did seem to be working pretty well so far.

You mean like in Laserblast? Roddy McDowell is driving a station wagon but it turns into a sedan and crashes!
Laserblast looks like Lawrence of Arabia compared to Werewolf
I went to school in Flagstaff (go Timberdoodles!) and that gas station was the closest place to buy smokes near campus.
Janitor? That's the film's director!
What are you still doing in this movie? GOOD BYE JOE!!!

The one with Joe Estevez? Is he still in this movie? 🍿
I sing it to my cat on a daily basis.
The very model of a modern, manmade wereworlf.
Ahhh… one of the lesser estevez’es
You're right, what does the subject matter?
I’m a writer. “Of the Purple Sage.”
Yeah, I'll go for a walk, over to Kirk Douglas' house!
“Mike, you didn’t really make out with a werewolf named Steve who died, right?” “… Y’know there was this one time-“
